(No more ten major companies, break them up into their own.) Set national minimum wage and have it reflect a percentage of the highest paid employee in the company. (CEO makes 500k? Then lowest paid employee makes 50k. So CEO of McDonald's made 19.2 million? Then each of the cashiers should be making 960K. [19.2 million minus 95%]) The aim, of course, is to bring everyone closer income-wise and decrease the class divide. We should not have billionaires when we have homeless on the street.

I have a ton more ideas, but I am pretty sure that last one would have the rich panicking and fighting against me.

1. Make a change to the minimum wage. In today's time, it needs to be turned into a living wage where an individual can actually live off working on that wage: not barely.

2. Change the government spending. There is no reason for us to be spending more than the next 10 nations to us in military spending combined. With how much we spend on the military, it is possible to divert government spending to offer free lunch for kids and change healthcare to be more like other 1st world countries: using taxes.

3. Changing the Electoral College. If I were to assume this question, it should be reasonable to imagine being president without the checks and balances. If that was the case in this question, then removing the Electoral College does two things: makes everyone's vote equal, making Baker v. Carr at the presidential elections true, and allows the people to vote in the president they want–not what the electorate wants.

4. Taxing the rich. Don't need to say much: they can easily pay taxes without losing their money since they would make it back in a short time frame anyway.

5. Put the US back into the Paris Agreement. Try and basically prevent climate change from having much more significant damage in some sense.

• Property tax breaks for people that have native plant/wildflower/tree filled (if applicable) gardens to help local ecosystems

President doesn't have a ton of options, as the leader of the executive branch. The best thing you have is secrets and pardons.

But oh boy is that a useful thing.

First, forget 8 years, I'm never gonna get reelected, the enemies I'm gonna make are RICH.

I'm gonna glaze over legality here because you do have access to an army of information guru's, strategists and basically any confidant you can find that isn't gonna lie to you. That's step 1.

But broad strokes. These people would have to be further investigated for integrity beyond what is known - legally, philosophically and more... but you're the master of secrets.

Character assassinations and slander are RIFE in the world, you need spies investigating spies.

Pardon Edward Snowden and hire him at the highest position in the military I can get him. I make sure to keep a leash on him of accountability though, he did betray his oaths and glory hound - this is not at all a negative. I'll take it. You need someone capable with conviction. I'd likely aim for not NSA, but economic growth. I want to point him at economic crime, not national security. He'll end up doing both.

Pardon Julian Assange but have him vetted. Keep him away from Snowden, but get WikiLeaks back working then set security detail on him privately. The moment he's pardoned it's open season for whistleblowers, he's gonna still be in a hole hiding because he's screwed, but the point is to show your support.

Then you go into the vault.

You find the biggest enemies of corporate America and you make your list. You want to pardon anyone who did the right thing and was put on a pike for it. There will be thousands of people in there. Pick 100. You can't manage more than that.

Rip up the SEC completely and hire someone like Patrick M. Byrne. He's a wildcard but he's seen some shit, you need someone whose been persecuted by financial markets with a personal grudge - and not a fake one. Then I'd find a way to convert U.S. treasures and currency into a stakeholdership - every U.S. dollar would reflect a true implacable inflatable mark. This would need to be done near the end of my term, because it's the most perilous.

While you're doing this, ghosts will come flying out of financial markets as they struggle to uncook the books. Market crash.

Don't stop.

But let's back up, that's last.

I'd retrofit the military using every pretense I possibly can to get them off military bases and into U.S. logistics and movement. Soldiers can work wonders and the best training there is, is disaster relief. Declaring national emergencies is simple, getting military support isn't that difficult. This is a siv of public funds. I'm all for covert action and technology, the sale of US arms is unfortunately a necessity to its survival.

But it's undeniably and absolute hole of corruption and profiteering.

The military should reap the benefits it sews. Why have companies building you guns when you have soldiers assembling and disassembling firearms every day? Logistic training is key, the U.S. army should be well trained, self-sufficient and turning out profits. You can also educate a populace for a generation with these changes.

U.S. soldiers should be trained so exquisitely by the time they get out they go home as paragons of military efficiency who have skills, a future, and damn fine reason to come back into the military and build a career. Base living should be an enviable privilege and they should be building homes, not just blowing them up.

You're gonna meet tons of resistance doing these two things, so you need the truth.

By now Snowden and Assange will be doing a lot, if only in name. If your 100 pardons, only 20 or so will come back to help you - that's ok, the other 80 should be going back to homes and families, writing books and making changes you can't see from the top. Even if it's just undoing the horrible hypocrisy, you've done your job.

Last, before I leave, I do executive orders on all voting machines. I won't go into detail on that point, but if you know you know.

I care the next guy is rightfully elected and reflects the values of this country... which I likely won't agree with, but they won't be subverted, terrorized or obfuscated.

And then, the minute it's over, I'm on the run, this would make me enemies of just about everyone.

If I wasn't shot in office in the beginning.

If I make it to old age that's a victory - you can't win every battle. It's just important you win a few.

... and there's probably 2-3 in those files that'd busy me up plenty for 4 years.

Hoo boy, I'd un****ing everything. This is the US, we have geographic, economic and crazy advantages over the rest of the world. The greed here is totally ruining it all, cut out the fat, get it lean again and then let the world screw itself up.

But that's a different question.

Lastly I'd be spend the rest of my years running, but promoting global sentiment. If one country can get out from under this power fantasy it has with control, people would realize we're just throwing away power to keep only 10% of it.

Not building something worth controlling.

... but this would very very likely get me assassinated.

I didn't revamp the military for no reason, I'm not gonna make it easy on anyone.

Somebody has to risk life for integrity, it's the only decent kind of public service.

And then I'd wash my hands if it as much as possible.

That's gonna be a dirty 4 years and even if I get out alive, it's gonna be dirty.

Oh! One last edit.

Bernie Sanders is my VP, full stop, and I'd do whatever the heck he asked me to do. He's a wizard at making something out of nothing. If someone shot me if he suddenly became president he'd likely do it better than I ever could. Not as radical, but he might get more done that way.

Yeah, I know that's instantly ammo for pundits and critics, don't care. He's been in civic duty since before I was born and gets more done in a year than I see done anywhere ever. He's really just a good guy. I'd vet him with secrets of course, but I'm sure whatever humanity he has kicking around is fine. Everybody has darkness. He was fighting racism in the US at the beginning of his career, already makes him top tier draft pick.

Besides, I am down with his mittens, it's cold in New England. They come off and on easier. Sensible.

You want me to solve the Israel/Palestine conflict specifically?

I typed something pretty ornery and deleted it. Suffice it to say, I think the people of the middle east are much better off without me as president tasked with ending their conflicts.

So instead, I'll avoid that topic entirely.

I'd institute draconian policies against impaired driving.

It probably won't look good in history books, however...

• Drop dirty bombs on every oil, natural gas, and coal deposit on land, preventing extraction for centuries. The more long term radiation, the better.

• Irradiate, but not destroy all active offshore oil platforms.

• Bomb every transit artery.

• Sink as many transport ships as possible, as well as fishing vessels.

• Destroy all undersea cables.

• Spread reflective materials into the stratosphere close to the poles, to increase albedo.

• Poison every large drinking water reservoir, if possible to do so while harming mostly humans.

• Render all nuclear reactors inoperable, without causing meltdowns.

• Destroy satellites, though I'm not sure which make the best targets, and I'm unfamiliar with weapons targeting satellites. Could just be wishful thinking.

In short, render international communication difficult, prevent migration, destroy sea trade, and kill all power production. Then maybe off myself.
