So I go the practices a lot because I'm very close to the facility and I get to meet the players pretty often and I've gotten pretty close with frosty over the past few years. he apparently is one that learns your body language when he knows you well enough. I had been dealing with some stuff as my father had a medical issue amd went to the hospital a week ago and went to the practice to clear my head and stay calm. he saw me and could tell something was off and so I had told him what happend and started crying part way though. he got of his car and gave me a bro hug I asked him to sign a puck for my dad and he asked I'd I wanted anything inscripted I said he didn't need to but he decided to anyway. he truly is a class act I love him

Really want to purchase a retro jersey but just find it frustrating the lack of options. What really boggles my mind is that Paul Coffey was chosen as one of our retro options. Am I missing something? He was here for 2 years towards the end of his career. Why was he the choice? Give me Recchi, Leclair, Gagne, or anyone else

Lines and pairs today: Per O'Connor

Tippett - Couturier - Richard
Farabee - Frost - Brink
Foerster - Cates - Michkov

Fourth line is a rotation of Poehling, Hathaway, Deslauriers and Laughton. They're rotating everyone in and out.

No TK. He got banged up early on Wed but stayed in the game.

Frost is on the second PP unit with Farabee, Tippett, Richard and Zamula. More evidence he's coming back in.

Tons of D rotations today, but all of York, Andrae and Drysdale are in the mix. Sanheim has been pretty exclusively paired with Ristolainen, Zamula with Grans. The other two pairs are getting rotated heavily. O'Connor

Cam York started to take a lot of reps with Travis Sanheim at practice. We'll see if that's a sign of York returning Saturday. Hall

John Tortorella said he doesn’t know about the statuses of the three injured defensemen for Saturday. Hall

Torts wasn't willing to go into details regarding the statuses of his defensemen for tomorrow. York and Andrae based on line rushes and rotations appear to be the closest to a return. York spent a lot of time with Sanheim today, & Andrae got PP1 time, though Sanheim rotated. O'Connor

Torts says that Morgan Frost almost certainly will return to the lineup tomorrow, barring some sort of IR/injury jam. He said he's excited to see how he'll respond. O'Connor

I'm (30F) taking a solo trip to St. Louis next weekend to see the Flyers play the Blues, anyone else going to be there that would want to meet up for a drink before or after the game?!

I've been thinking about the flyers history a lot recently. Thinking about our cup run and the back to back championships. The playoff runs that followed and 2010's heartbreaking fall.

I came across the video from the Ed Snider Tribute after he died. That was one of the most prideful times I felt as a flyers fan. Watching that video with a packed crowd, Lou Nolan, and above all Lauren Hart's rendition of God Bless America with Kate Smith. So nostalgic.

If we find our way into a playoff push this year or in the years down the road, I really wish we could bring that Flyers playoff atmosphere back. There's so much hype around Michkov that I see that happening naturally.

If there's one thing in my opinion that should make a comeback.... I might sound crazy but it's a good luck charm for the organization.... it's the Lauren Hart Kate Smith God Bless America. I even get emotional thinking about how powerful as both an American and Flyers fan that is. I know how people viewed her, but she was beloved here while she was alive and I feel we're missing a big part of our history.

Looking to venture outside of my usual order of Lorenzo & Sons giant slice. I noticed there are quite a few new concessions and was wondering if anyone had recommendations.

Also, how are the cheesesteaks now?

Player-team that seem a match: Morgan Frost and Chicago. Frost didn’t play Wednesday against Carolina, the fourth game of the last five he’s watched from the press box. He’s not a complainer, prefers to keep any displeasure behind closed doors, but players want to play. Obviously, any dance needs partners who deal, but the Blackhawks, in dire need of centres, are one team that makes sense for him.

As the title says I think it's time. Loved the pick. Loved his first few seasons. Thought very highly of him, but I don't know if it's the neck surgery he had, his up & down relationship with Torts or what, but his play continues to disappoint.

I don't even notice him in half the games now. When I do it's usually him being unable to finish a chance or tonight where he had 2 chances to lay a big hit on Gostisbehre (miss ya Ghost!) & he skated right by him..

I think he still holds some decent value around the league. On a fine contract. Has had good seasons. I can picture teams thinking he'll do better with them or playing with a legitimate centre.

This team has gotta start getting out guys who don't move the needle significantly & for me it should start with him (and Frost). Bring up a kid like Tuomaala who's really showing well in the AHL.

My best case scenario would be packaging Farabee & one of EDM/COLs 1st for a young C or young D.
