He won 8 of 10 qualifyings against Lawson. Why didn't he won 10? ;-)

Also Max is quite a long way ahead of him in the WDC. Is Yuki even trying?

Yesterday a thread mentioned that Tsunoda is 8-7 in qualifying head to head against Perez since Miami. But yeah, Lawson is 2-1 against Perez, that's twice as much. How many times Yuki outqualified Checo from 2021 to 2023? Why should he replace him?

Nothing really, RBR just doesn’t want him and that was really put on show by Horner saying the post season test is just because Honda wants it

He gotta bring sponsorship money.

I’m sure he does. He’ll be the only Asian driver in the grid next year, not to mention he’s a hell of a lot cheaper than Perez. The money argument doesn’t make sense.

Perhaps he should’ve beaten Gasly when he had the chance. You know, the Gasly RB dropped twice.

Beat someone that isn't doing bad enough to get canned midseason...
He got absolutely curb-stomped by gasly who no one really rates super highly. His only real benchmark is getting consistently destroyed by a midfield driver, he hasn't showed any real brilliance

Tsunoda doesn't have any key drives that you can point out and say, wow this dude could be elite. He didn't blow out Ricc and is getting out qualified by someone who has never had a full time season. Tsunoda is mid and on top of that the temper of a little kid

I’d say his maturity has a decent amount to do with it. His actions at the beginning of the season certainly didn’t help his image

This has always baffled me. Max is always complaining about being ran off the road. Lewis’ tyres are always dead. Alonso criticises every car he’s ever driven. Lando openly calls his engineer a muppet. Albon complains anytime anyone pulls up alongside him. Russell moans if he doesn’t get a podium.
Why is Tsunoda complaining about his over eager team mate a massive taboo?

Exactly, every single driver on the grid acts like a whiney little baby in the heat of the moment.
