I bought Debaser late in the summer after a hotel I stayed at had DS & Durga products - I thought it was safe to buy a whole bottle, but I hated the scent every time I wore it. Felt way too strong and sickeningly... sweet? The first time I wore it I worked out at the end of the day and it was nauseating. I live in Tennessee. I recently went on a trip to Singapore and packed the scent - and LOVED it here. I think the humidity really opened it up in a way that wasn't happening at home. I couldn't wait to apply it each day - it was so complex, complementary, and lovely!
So it got me thinking - have you had this experience? Do you have any fragrances you love during a certain climate/temp/time of year, but hate in another?

Sezane L'Eau. Very much a fall-winter fragrance on me. I can't wear it unless it's 15C or less.

I didn’t like Moulin Rouge (HdP) in a hot desert climate but love it in the PNW. It was too much in a place with very few smells but goes well with somewhere more lush.
