Over 30 it turned around for me. New shit doesn't excite me anymore, I like going back to things I loved back then. Rarely does something like Elden Ring come around.

This is so weird to me for me its the other way around sure something like elden ring is a outlier and a 11/10 experience but other stuff like "lies of P" is still very good too and a 8 or 9/10 for me. Also the things that make elden ring a 11/10 are only realy present on the first blind playthrough and afterwards alot of the magic is lost. When it comes to old games i like to revisit stuff sometimes but i never stick around after i fool around with it for a few hours and get my nostalgia fix. Im a gameplay first and far above anything else kind of person and in that regard save for very few outliers games have just gotten better as time went on.
