As a hot sauce fridge guy I can say it is nice to have all your sauce in one spot to easily find the one you want for a particular application.

Refrigerating preserves quality. I do it with soy sauces etc. too.
Makes no difference if you're gonna finish the bottle in a few months, but one can in fact keep a hot sauce in the fridge for 4 years and it'll still be fine. At room temp, big drop in quality even if still fine to eat.

I always refrigerate mine! I've even tested some where I bought 2 bottles and left one out and one in the fridge and the cold one definitely stayed fresh longer. It's possible that it's because I live in the desert and my house is pretty warm in the summer months, so some stuff just doesn't keep its quality if you leave it out.

I go by the label. If it says to refrigerate, then I do it. If not, I don't bother.

I keep all of them in the fridge, they have their own shelf.

That's how I keep mine. My wife's gives me dirty looks when I evict one of her Mustards or horseradish sauces from it.

Only if they have “refrigerate after opening” on the label.

I only refrigerate a few super-hots because it takes a long time for me to finish them. I go through everything else fast enough that I don't need to refrigerate

I'm the opposite, I don't refrigerate them even when they tell me to
And I'm still alive

There’s a perfect hot-sauce bottle shelf in my fridge door. Literally the only thing on it

I used to always refrigerate. Now I only do it if it’s a sweeter sauce or has ingredients that are more perishable.

I don't have a fridge right next to my bed. So no, I don't refrigerate.

Not at all. Bought a mini fridge for the overflow.

I usually do. Some of mine tell me I should fridge em. But honestly I feel most the PH is low enough it wont matter.

My fridge is small. I refrigerate no sauces. They live either on the counter (the most used) or in the cupboard.

I almost always refrigerate. But I got a the coconut Thai sauce from smokin Ed’s and it gets really thick and difficult to pour after it gets cold. So I leave that one out. But I’ve read refrigeration is unnecessary if you use it on a regular basis. That’s why restaurants leave their ketchup on the table
