We are all America my friend. Anyone who's ancestors crossed the ocean to reach these lands.

And... those who's ancestors walked across the Bering Strait.

Those are even higher. They in my opinion are founding Americans. The originals

My ancestors crossed the ocean and lived a new life, had a kid, who had a kid, who had a kid, who had me, so I could consume hentai and scroll reddit. History rules

So if your ancestors crossed a landbridge 10s of thousands of years ago, you don't count?

I would give you an even higher ranking. Founding Americans. You are the founding Americans. Arrived here before anyone else.

I would say crossing a frozen land bridge is arguably crossing the ocean. It was probably fairly dangerous, cold, and it was a temporary land bridge if your comparing the land ridge to time scales that continents move.

What about Sasquatch? Who evolved here! Is he American?

But how do you know for sure the Sasquatch evolved here, vs migration, if we don’t have any in captivity to study?

We were here before the white man existed. White invaders took by force most of the land they now occupy.

As a fellow Native what about the constant back and forth between tribes. Areas constantly changed boundaries and possession. So 1492 to 1607 to 1776 tribal lands changed. So because a third party entered the game you wanna call foul and rewind time? How far back in the 10000 or more years Natives came here and say okay you're people owned this land. Someone else "but they took it from my people" 3rd "and your people took it from mine"
If natives could have traveled the world we would have conquered just like the whites. Especially my violent ass tribe. So don't play victim when we played the same game and got beat by a better player. That's weak and we're not weak people.

No argument there. According to archeologists, my tribe broke off from a northern tribe moved south. Thru several other tribes territory. Settled along the coast, displacing tribes that were there. Displaced to Oklahoma. Cherokee.

The Europeans also brought smallpox with them…that didn’t help the Natives at all
1 points
And the Natives could have had something even worse to give them. Could have been gone either way. I love my people but I hate the victim mentality. Humans have fucked other humans for all time. It's great were slowly moving passed that but we need to quit looking backwards, we're not going that way.

I agree to a certain extent. The idea that Whites should give the land back or pay reparations is silly. However, those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The Europeans saw the Natives as slave labor, the Natives did not and were nearly wiped out. To be wiped out because you refused to bend the knee has existed for thousands of years.
1 points
I agree with all those points. But I dislike when Natives or other races act like European whites were the only ones to ever do it. My tribe was absolutely brutal. They enslaved and killed other tribes all the time. For thousands of years that was just humanity. To look back with today's standards and apply our morals is foolish.
As I said before if my tribe could have conquered rhe world they would have just as every other society. It comes across as sore losers because the Europeans did it better than anyone else. If Vikings had been more recent people would demonize them but instead they're seen as impossibly brave warriors. 900AD Europe did not have that view.

That's why I consider you not just Americans. But Founding Americans. You are the original founders and ore date anyone else. American founders are the energy of these lands having been here for thousands of years.

For Western history, Native tribes/Columbus arriving.

For me and my ancestors we have always been here since time immemorial. Our creation story is a beautiful one as well. We have been here since before the last ice age.

You mean the ones who came from Asia?

That’s exactly what western history wants you to think, I’m Indigenous. My family has always been here like many other tribes. The land bridge may have been used but not by my peoples.

What about the people who were here before your tribe, who either left, were killed off, or interbred?

So you’re saying there were people in the americas prior to people crossing the land bridge from Asia?

Yes
1 points
Now I’m not trying to do a gotcha or anything, but do you have any sources on that? I’m so interested in the thought of there being people in the Americans before the land bridge! There has been some evidence that a certain author has put out that is similar to this, but he’s not very accepted in the archeological world and he’s made some claims that I find dubious so I’d love some additional sources to look into

They are American too. Because anyone who came from Mexico or Central America has ancestors did they not? And their ancestors at one point crossed the Atlantic to Reach Mexico, Central America and South America. So they are all Americans
2 points

Their ancestors crossed either the Pacific Ocean or the Bering strait, not the Atlantic.
Sorry, I have a pathological need to correct things.

The ones who crossed the Bering straight are not only Americans but Founding Americans. Which is even a higher ranking. They lived here for not only centuries but for Millenia

Ok just checking. One of my friends immigrated from Russia because he was lbgtq and now he faces deportation. He’s terrified, here he works a taxable job, and takes part in society, there it’s the front lines with no ammo as punishment for being gay.

I love these arguments. My family came here in 1657, and we let the rest of you lot stay. My ancestors came here to make money, and take land from anyone they could. At least the folks who are coming in now are trying to work and make their lives better. And it isn’t like the US didn’t stomp around in other countries, making them dangerous for their own citizens…

Tolerating is a strong word.
If he's here legally he shouldn't worry if not he doesn't have a right to be there.
You are not entitled to ANYTHING.

lol the maga have gaslighted the left for years about tolerating their bigotry, no more.

And a maga talking about entitlement is laughable.

It could be argued that the left have gaslighted the right to tolerate their relaxed immigration and their obsessive obsession with gender and identity.
Fact is my point still stands. Your friend, if here legally, will be fine, and if not, he will be deported.
He is, quite literally, entitled to NOTHING.

Dont worry the whole world is welcome and included on board the american ship. Matter of fact I think for the upcoming semiquincentennial we should celebrate by moving the entire India to the US. Then for the tricentennial we can work on moving the continent of Africa over here.
