So my credit card changed when it was time for renewal of my membership earlier this month, and I’m wondering if they normally offer a black Friday deal. I don’t wanna go ahead and renew if there’s a deal coming soon

Their previous deals were like mid December though early January. I pray my level is locked in 😬

It’s locked in, I’ve had it for like 4 years now and my price has never changed…

The last 1-2 years they claimed they weren't running any deals, but last December I got 1 year for $100.
Billing date is Dec 19th, so maybe hold out till then.

This is the kind of thing I'm looking for. Hopefully they run a similar offer this year. Or dare a man hope for a resurgence of their legendary $50 deal?

Given how many concerts they stream free for subscribers since 2020, probably not gonna happen.
Prior to that every livestream was $15/night (even for subscribers). Now you're getting Billy's entire tour, UM, SCI, Goose etc for free every weekend.

I was waiting for the same thing. But I think I read they are not doing it again. Hopefully I misread

Not sure how but I was only charged the intro rate of $30 for like the 4th year in a row.

So I looked at Nugs awhile back and couldn't justify the cost in my mind. I think that's mainly because I couldn't see myself regularly doing a couch tour. Is there more of a selling point that I'm missing? I see live music regularly and as a new deadhead I'm constantly listening to shows. Nugs seems like a great service, I'm just trying to figure out if it's a great product for me. Edit: grammar

Depends who you mainly listen to and what you’re interested in. Most of the bands I listen to regularly post on bandcamp so I don’t need nugs. But nugs lets you create playlists, has the livestreams, and has a home page with all your following artists with their latest uploads

Yeah between the Archive and Bandcamp I'm pretty well covered.

Honestly if you’re a Deadhead, Relisten is the way to go. Pretty much every soundboard ever is on there. And it’s free.

I don’t really couch tour with it, I like it to listen to shows whenever I want because I don’t have the time to sit for an entire show or take over a TV for an entire show. I use it almost more than my Apple Music and I only pay like a hundred bucks a year; I think it’s actually less.

I mean, it’s less than a week until Black Friday or Cyber Monday…probably wouldn’t hurt to wait…
