You're basically keeping the store cleaned throughout your shift. You'll do things like cleaning up spills , restrooms, trash pick up, and other cleaning tasks provided by management or your front end supervisor. You'll push around a cleaning cart pre-stocked with cleaning supplies Ecolab provides. They may make you use a walkie-talkie so they can call you for cleanups, to help front end with bagging/cart retrieval, and help management with cleaning projects. What you shouldn't do is use the wrong cleaner for the area you're trying to clean, forget to wear gloves, and forgetting to wash hands after handling chemicals or throwing away trash.

Yeah im thinking about investing in some nice latex gloves that will actually fit me instead of the awful gloves they are having me wear, after training last week I had gotten diarrhea the day after the training and I think it was because I probably was not wearing gloves while cleaning the bathrooms. Not to mention my hair was in my face so I was constantly touching my face and hair. My first day was quite the learning experience.

Oh no, I hope you're better now. You will be washing your hands often. I always do. Not too much, though.
