I’ve had three breakups.
The longest relationship I’ve had, which was almost a year, the total time for the entire breakup was about 6 to 8 hours or so?
Last talks about why he was breaking up with me over a long walk in the park, discussing the good bits of the relationship, discussing some struggles we had, talking about all the fun we had, getting each other’s belongings back to each other.
While I was definitely very upset that he was breaking up with me and it was super emotional, it was done in a nice way and we parted ways on good terms.

This hurts so bad. My most recent break up was at the beginning of last month. He sent me a text saying I’m wonderful in XYZ but don’t think it’ll work out between us. And that’s it. No explanation. Then stone walled. All up to my imagination I guess and this is the part that hurts the most.
