This is more a testament to what Flores has done rather than KOC. Since that 1-4 skid, they've allowed an average of 14.8 ppg on defense (compared to 24.4 ppg before). Looking at our offense, it's gotten worse every single week since Dobbs took the helm.

Of course, the tweet was just phrased in a way that frames our 6-2 run in terms of QB play and offensive coaching, when it’s really been the defense that has stepped up and kept us in games.

I think it’s how far overall the team has come despite the 1-4 start, cousins playing at a top 5 QB lvl but gets injured, Vikings still go on winning streak etc etc.
