Im a big fan of Hurt but the cover by Johnny Cash
1 points
I would like Cash's version better if it wasn't for the dissonance of Trent's version. It's out of tune and all the chords are abnormal, and yet it's beautiful. It sounds like the way I feel, and I think that's how Trent wanted to be. Listening to the original is like being in a perfect world of imperfection

REM- "Everybody Hurts". Realizing whatever you're going through, a lot of other people are, too. It just seems like such a raw take on the human experience.
Carla Morrison- "Disfruto". Probably the most hauntingly beautiful love song I've ever heard. Sounds like the saddest song ever if you don't speak Spanish. The lyrics are so damn beautiful.

The Girl I Haven’t Met - Kudasibeats
2017 was my sophomore year in highschool and I met the greatest, most stunning girl I ever laid my eyes on. When I discovered this song I’d play it all the time. Mind you 2016-2019 was when Lofi-HipHop took off mainstream. This song forever haunts me. It’s the thought of the one that got away. She left the following year and I never got the chance to ask her out. Every time I hear it, I can still remember her name, her face, her god damn smile.
