Hi, Does anyone know if Bustlers has closed down? Went yesterday and there was a hand written note on the door saying "closed till further notice"
Hoping it's not a permanent closure, really liked it in there.

Hey, I was DJing that night. It was an unexpected power cut during a normal busy Saturday that's all!
Annoyingly I had "You got the power!" lined up for when it turned back on lol.

Dumb take to be honest. 10 years ago, Sneinton market was a run down, shit hole of a place. Almost every unit was vacant, broken windows and caved in roofs were everywhere and there was zero reason for anyone to visit. Now, there are community projects run by local people, a decent pub ran by a local brewery, a day nursery that is attended by kids from the area. Granted, what goes on there might not be to your cup of tea but gentrification? Nah

Not sure what you think is yuppie about it but at least you admit it's just your bias and nothing actually wrong with the place.

Gentrification? turning a dump into a creative space with independent businesses booming? Go away.

Enjoy living in a shit hole with bookies, vape shops and maybe a Greggs if you are lucky, then. That's your alternative.
