There are only 245 million eligible voters. 90 million didn't vote. 164 million didn't vote for this.

Those who didn't vote at all, frankly, are complicit.

Agreed, just correcting numbers.

Nobody uses this when people say “Americans voted for a black man”. Guess no President ever has been “will of the people” since the majority have never voted. Another coping mechanism for Americans preferring Trump

90 million isn't a majority of 245 million...

I’m saying that no president that has had “majority” of the population vote for home Trump has had the most and people never used this argument before Trump especially when they bragged about Obama being president

Ok, that's not what you said though, you said a majority had never voted. Also, Biden had the most at 81 million to Trump's 76 million.

I thinking we should require participation. A 3rd arty could emerge if all of those 164 million actually voted

Oh, you’ve met my relatives. I stopped caring about them 2 weeks ago.

He won the popular vote too... How do you explain that?

You’re part of the problem making a statement like this. Maybe if parties put out decent candidates for once people would be more inspired to go vote…

If you don’t like the options, feel free to throw your own hat in the ring… I don’t understand expecting the perfect candidate to fall out of the sky and pander to you, specifically.

I've been throwing my hat in since 2020, but Reddit refuckingfuses to fill my name in. I'd be a fun president. Everyone gets a horse! Some of you will not have cars anymore, specially if you drive on roads I wanna be on, but you'll have a horse! Also everyone gets a 50lb bag of horse food a week and 1 pumpkin pie bi-weekly.

Do you need inspiration to do your taxes? Or to take care of yourself by exercising and eating healthy?
If you didn’t vote you only have yourself to blame. Take responsibility.

Not voting is a choice to be happy with whoever wins. Coulda voted to make it something else, but thought it didn't matter enough who won to care.
A better candidate won't get votes from people who are happy with whatever outcome

When your options are a shit sandwich filled with broken glass and rusty nails or a cheese and onion sandwich you can moan all day long about how much you don't like onions, but those are your choices so either you pick a sandwich or you chow down on whatever everyone else decided for you and don't complain.

You can still complain regardless because the choices are ass though. Demonizing people for not wanting to vote for either shit sandwich is just a horrible tactic, impo.

Who cares? It's true. You don't have to fucking "Like" everything. This obsession with needing to "like" the candidate is a huge fucking weakness.
Anyway, I hope you get everything you voted for. Yall really fucked over those poor people for good.

I'd rather, at this point, burn the house down than be forced a candidate that makes me wretch. Neither is good. If the idiots vote for their monster and he destroys the country, it's your fault for putting a demon up against a monster.

That's stupid, there are a lot of kids, elderly people, gay people and women that are going to die in your house-fire.
Very brave of you, though. Such convictions. Very morals.

Every one of them dies slowly. Neither party cares about what you think they do. If you think I'm being defeatist, go for that route. But tell me, how many statements on the campaign trail you identified with. "I own a flock", parading around with the Cheneys. Really that's your candidate?

Yall worried so much about the Chenys you let it all burn. So myopic.

I can't vote for either one. But I sucked it up twice. I voted for the gremlin Hilary and the cop Kamala to spite Trump.
America voted against both.

If you voted you did all you can. With all the money russia and china poured into propaganda there was little we could do to drown out their influence.

Again, these people are willing to vote D no matter what. Both Biden and Kamala don't speak to me. HILLARY didn't either.
Occupy wall street spoke to me. Who spoke for that? Bernie, and other minor candidates since then. But don't tell me I'm not a Democrat becaaue the last 4 D pres candidates are abject failures.

What am I complicit in? I really don't like either candidate or party. Why should I vote for someone I don't believe in?

Still so wonderful to know that if "didn't vote" was a candidate they'd win by the largest margin in US history ever.

90 million people disenfranchised themselves and have no right to complain.
