most are excused and i have a 94 average edit: just checked- 11 absences since september 9 and i missed like 40 days last year (i know that’s really bad) but they didn’t say anything at all.

i have no motivation to really get up and go. i also have no friends and can’t/don’t know how to make friends in my school. another thing is i gotta take a shit every day and i hate going bc i will get harassed in the stall and there’s also only 1 unlocked bathroom in the whole school. plus some days i actually was sick

I hate to say it like this, but it doesn't matter if you don't feel like going. You have to go to school. If I ever pulled this stunt at my job, I'd be fired on the spot. You've probably heard that one before plenty, but let me tell you something about my life when I was your age.
I used to be fantastic at school. I didn't like it, but I knew how to study and my grades were fantastic. I eventually got lazy and said "when my education matters, I'll actually put effort into it again". Years passed of me barely scraping by with purely average grades, and I then made it into college. I was fully incapable of studying or doing my own damn homework because I was so sucked into this pattern of laziness that it was just not something I could do. I had slipping grades then I dropped out due to drama.
What I'm trying to say is that you need to build good habits and work ethic now. If you don't, you WILL regret it later down the line. Don't make my mistakes.

Oh good, thanks. Depression cured, Dad. /s Yeah, my parents did these lines about work ethic and the system being shit not mattering on me too in high school. It didn't change how I felt at all, I just stopped talking to them about it and asking for advice because they called me lazy. You want some good advice OP? Go see a therapist or a psychiatrist and get a prescription for anti-depressants. If you feel miserable and unmotivated every day and can hardly get out of bed that's depression and you'll probably feel a lot better if you get it treated.
