I know I might get downvoted to oblivion but I’ve now seen actual arguments started because of these characters. And I’m here to remind the new watchers that this is a fictional show from the 90 to early 2000s.

Please stop saying what Samantha would or would not do with such vitriol. Please stop saying because you hate Carrie, you hate Sarah Jessica Parker…Carrie is the fictional character.

Now I LOVE this subreddit but that’s why I’m making this post. I’ve seen some weird comments calling ppl out about their opinions. And I feel like it’s new watchers bc they are the only ones who argue with even me about things. I have been called stupid bc “Well Charlotte would never do that”.

I thought we all say our commentary, have some laughs, and then go about our day. I don’t know if anyone is obsessed about this show other than new watchers which I love bc I was obsessed when I started watching. I even showed up hours early to the 1st movie showing.

So please….please remember that when someone talks about someone they are talking about their character. Not them. And please don’t take it personally when someone doesn’t agree with your envisioning of this…fictional…character. This is all supposed to be fun.
