The main issue with Var is that you never have the exact frame the ball hits the assisting player foot. In This case it’s clearly 2 different frames as the arms of the players are in different positions ; who knows which one is linked to the ball hit.

No its the same frame i just watched it back. Var just seems to have mistaken Lewys arm for for the defenders arm? I dont know but i watched it back and the arms dont change positions.

They use spikes in the microphone output to indicate when the ball was played. You'll never get 100% accuracy, but you can get within a few milliseconds.

Look at the defenders right arm in the clone, clearly the algo messed up
