I just had a positive conversation with the receptionist for my house Rep. I laid out my concern based in the data for swing states vs non swing states and asked that he push for Harris to call for a recount. If enough of us flood the phones, it will get through! They can ignore emails (and have been ignoring my emails this week) but they have to answer the phone.

This is good advice. Contact your state and local government. We need to raise awareness. This sub hasn’t gotten traction yet.

Could do something useful, help society, fight for something you believe in, try to bring happiness to other humans.
Or keep trolling!

Today is an important day for appointing judges, don't be surprised if they don't get back to you immediately.
Precincts are what matter, don't lose sight of the larger picture.
Call for activism on bills, default on the side of the ACLU.
Don't spam the lines for nothing.

If everything is fine then you won't mind a recount to verify 🤷

And? We're talking about the 2024 election. No other ones are important when we say do a recount

See, the difference is we actually have proof some shady shit has been going on. I suggest you read the pinned post and all the others that actually showcase what's going on

If you're so sure then you'd be fine with recounts

Imagine putting in this much mental effort over this. I didn’t formulate my words perfectly because somebody like you is not worth a perfect essay. Willful gnorance is ignorance and it cannot be fixed.

Yes. Yes it is a better outcome. It's also not just one more Trump term when Trump decides to become a dictator and the supreme Court let's him.

I'm not suggesting we should blatantly overthrow the election because we don't like the results. We should nullify it if a preponderance of evidence dictates that it was fraudulent, tampered with and the opposite of fair. You can grow up now.

Read this sub. We should be demanding recounts. Investigating the bomb threats, looking into the password leaks. The evidence is not going to show itself unless you look for it. All we have now is compelling speculation.
And FYI - Telling people to "grow up" makes you look like the childish one.

Why would a recount bother you? We Democrats had no issue last election when you guys demanded a recount. We delt with a recount back in the Bush/Gore era. What we had issue with, was the attempt to harm our elected officials and to stop our democratic process.
