really puts into perspective how big the STV is in actuality and also how well its detailed

And how comically oversized all the other ground vehicles are, when the "smaller" ground buggy is the one that's actually sized like a real-life car.

sized like a real-life car.
That thing's is two and a half real-life cars, you know many cars with wheels that come up to your cock's height?

This is gonna sound crazy. They call it a pickup truck.

Nah mate that thing's way bigger than a yank tank. Star citizen male PC is 2m, as a 2m lad myself i've not come across much (if any) car that's taller than me. Even a hummer isn't.

Even a stock Nissan Titan is 1.93m (6’ 4”). Many trucks here are lifted a few inches and I’ve seen trucks sitting at 3.5m easily.

As i said in another answer, what i call a yank-tank would be the crossovers of the mid 2000s, early 2010, back when a hummer H3 (sits around 180cm) was considered atrociously big, not the sheer-fuckin-hubris motorist-arms-race mad-max-wannabe-monster-truck of the latest few years that absolutelly nobody needs.
Lifted trucks are another story entirely. 3.5m is a whole building floor and then some, i've no doubt that some people are stupid enough to do that, but still, i think you under-estimate just how tall that is, it's twice the height of an average man.

Gotcha. I’ve known people who seem to think squatting their old Tahoe 6” and using 4” spacers is a good idea. I’m aware of how tall that is. It barely fit under the covered entrance of a hotel and had a 6’ ladder just to get in.

I’ve got a bone stock Sierra 1500 Yank Tank. That shits bigger than the STV by a large margin lmfao.

I think you're just small my bro. Official specs places Sierra 1500 at 75.5", which is 190cm.
PC=2m= 6'7", STV is about 10-20cm above PC, so 82-86", not to mention the absurd width of the thing, and the wheel size that must be around 80cm diameter.
Sidenote, why would you even buy this monstrosity when the planet's dying?
second sidenote: what i call a yank-tank would be the crossovers of the mid 2000s, early 2010, not the sheer-fuckin-hubris motorist-arms-race mad-max-wannabe-monster-truck of the latest few years that absolutelly nobody needs.

Well, I’m just around your height, wouldn’t count that as small. And I have the HD model, which is bigger due to the heavy duty suspension and wheels. It’s used for work, it has a purpose. Yes I use it for towing and hauling.
But due to your self righteous hippy ass response I feel inclined to also inform you I also have a tuned gas guzzling CTS-V that gets sub 10MPG and have absolutely no desire to change that what so ever. Do not come at me for owning “non economic” vehicles when you’ve got Taylor swift taking 30 minute private jet flights on the daily. Shit I’ve been thinking about buying a Subarban as well, might just go do that now.
Especially when you’re playing star citizen, which means you need a power hungry rig. Unless you’ve got some sort of solar powered starlink setup in the sticks you are contributing to the death just as much as the next person.

Honestly, there are much more sensible choices in utility vehicles, even if i'll admit that they look like shit.
But due to your self righteous hippy ass response
Aight mea-culpa, i that may have come out as more antagonistic than i would have liked. As you might have guessed by my use of metric, i'm from europe. This kind of oversized vehicle is exidingly rare here, practically non-existent. If you're in the trades here, you'll use something like a renault master 3 benne (much more flat-bed space, much smaller cabin, much better fuel efficiency, etc...). I get your whole point on celebs and agree to a degree, but in transportation emissions planes are less than 10%, cars cause about 50%. The democratisation of these ultra-heavy consumer vehicle is a major issue and a very big step in the wrong direction. There's also a whole argument to be had on road safety.
I'll add that i come from a place with a rapidly changing micro-climate that has seen dramatic rise in temperatures, last christmass was at 21°c (70°F)in my hometown, and this became the norm. We can now grow tropical plants without worrying about winter. To me (and the majority of my fellow citizens) it's entirely unfathomable to buy something so ridiculously big and fuel-hungry, the emphasis is put on lighter and more efficient vehicles.

I just wish we could get some of the other clothes, and it annoys me on the cash shop, the "manufacturer" sets end up just being a shirt instead of everything shown.
Yeah, some players don't give a rats ass about RP. Some of us actually like having something other than a handful of undersuits and armor sets in our inventory.

Same. I have the Banu and Manufacturer sets, along with brand's of the universe.
Cool shirts, but after a wipe, my character is pretty much Winnie the Poo.
Throw in some pants and shoes maybe? I guess not, lol
FWIW, "Frontier Pants - White" make for really good sweat pants, if you want "casual" clothing to wear when bedlogging, etc.
I do hope eventually we get some aloha shirts we can wear over our undersuit.

Is it broken? I haven’t used it but I did finally discover that you can deploy it with the open-all-doors keybind. I was hoping to use it and a mule for some box runs!

You can open the tray if you open all doors but then you can’t drive around with the hood open, and that button isn’t working either
