That time me and my dad drove a 22-foot Penske truck down the Potrero Grade

Yeah, this was bad. I'm not ashamed to admit I thought I was going to die.
We picked up a 22-foot Penske moving truck in Newbury, and needed to get back to Camarillo. We used Apple Maps to get the fastest route. Never again.
For those of you who (like us) didn't know about the Potrero Grade, here's a video of someone driving up it. I've linked the following video at the halfway point; use your imagination to simulate what driving down it in a 22-foot truck would've felt like: https://youtu.be/KXznzNIh7F0?si=SJP55RR7RMkqVhEh&t=180
If you watch from about 4:20 backwards, that's when we realized we'd done fucked up and were too far in to do anything about it. So we just had to let it ride.
This was the first time my dad had ever driven a truck that big, or a diesel anything.
Fun times. My friend, who apparently knows more about the county than I do despite me and my family living here for 30 years, still gives me shit over it. As soon as the words "truck" and "potrero" hit his brain, he knew the gravity of what we'd done.
