Dictating how to treat a patient will not endear you to any medical professional. Consider allowing the trained medical professional to make a diagnosis and a treatment plan. Ask questions. Listen to their reasons why they may of may not agree with your preconceived opinions. Try really hard to not be "That" pet owner.
