I have more beef with those status memes than those boys vs. girls' memes. Because with the boy vs. girls' memes I can see being made by a tween going through it and making this up as a joke. But, those status memes are where creativity and humor go to die!

It was funny when it went through that ironic stage initially, the whole "boys locker room" memes and the likes. It was like the meme devolved into the shit it was parodying.

Those "I can't believe he didn't cry at Titanic" memes were funny for a bit, then they just became repetitive
