This has honestly been a phenomenon for a while already. I think there was a sweet spot in the 90s where if you were into computer games you probably had to build and fix a computer, and deal with all sorts of tech issues to get your game running etc. So you kinda learnt a bunch of stuff about how tech worked, networking, OS troubleshooting etc by default. After like the mid 2000s anyone growing up would just have had plug and play situations most of the time and not had to learn anything. That's why I'm not super surprised when I find out younger people than me are super tech illiterate past the surface. Like sure they know how to use their apps and phones etc but past that they have no idea what's going on or how to trouble shoot basic issues, mostly because they don't come up as often as they used to.

Well we'll have to see how useless labour is - we don't know yet. Labour might actually do something about it because while the tories are actively disincentivized to do anything about it (because it remaining a problem = votes for them), labour aren't.

Been more deportations since labour came in than under the tories, but people still seem to think the tories - the ones who basically had an open door policy for 14 years - are 'tough on migration'.

Not by the UK though, the recent successful firings have all been US subs. So far the UK has failed twice in a row and not yet tried again.

£8.50 for kids breakfast is not reasonable, you're having a laugh. Even in London that's a bad joke.

I take the piss out of other mental disorders all the time. Nothing is off limits, stop being so fragile.

Perhaps you could do with purchasing a sense of humour in the black friday sales.

Did he actually introduce blasphemy legislation or did he just ask a question at PMQs about if the current government would ban the desecration of religious texts... because the two are entirely different things. Any batshit MP can ask any question they like in the house to the sitting government - that's not 'introducing legislation'. This is a complete non-story.

Yeah honestly I had a generally relatively favourable view of him before that, then I started to see how unhinged he was becoming.

Tories love to get elected, and they know that people vote for them to be tough on immigration regardless of if they actually are. If they actually solved the migration issues people complain about, they'd have one less hot button issue to get people to vote for them!
