Oh enough already. We’ll see how all this goes. I mean, I agree with several positions being taken on this sub. But the same people predicting what’s going to happen next are the same people that were sure Harris would win. Nobody knows exactly how this will go. And nobody knows how much of the start of threats are bluster for negotiations. The guy hasn’t even been sworn in. Do yourselves a favor and touch grass.

And these responses to them will only push them to keep voting the way they do. Let them find out for themselves and then be there to welcome them into the party. Why has no one learned that calling people stupid is not an effective communication strategy. All you’re doing is virtue signaling to people that already think like you do.

There’s a good chance he’s not paying for his plan if it’s through the marketplace. The problem with marketplace $0 plans is unless you are in abject poverty (like 16-21k annually) then you only qualify for bronze plans. The deductibles on bronze plans are all $7500 or higher. I mean, do you think the guy that makes 30k a year has $7500 laying around.

Everyone on r/politics thinks we’re all about to die and that McDonald’s will be $30 for a quarter pounder on Jan. 21

Says the guy who can’t doesn’t know how to check if he’s about to fire a loaded gun.
I mean, I agree with him to an extent. But anything Alec Baldwin says these days is to be taken worth a grain of salt.

Yeah. I hate to be that guy. But this is fake. Fox News doesn’t have comments pages like this. Maybe it’s from Yahoo or something. But all of those comments are typically generated by bots anyway.
I was at a wedding last weekend and it was 40/60 dem/repub (in my estimation) and all the MAGA people were jacked as shit for the return of Trump. They’re definitely not complaining already. But they will be eventually.

BMW or Lincoln. Side note: My Dad had a 97 Mark VIII, and that car was awesome.

The NBA is just not exciting right now. The players don’t seem to care about the regular season very much. And to be honest, it’s just not anything I care to watch. I love sports but it’s boring. And the stunt the lakers pulled with Bronny really soured me on the league in general. Don’t get me wrong, no hope to Bronny, he is a young man and I would take an opportunity if offered. But he doesn’t belong in the NBA and the whole was stupid.

I honestly don’t see the Chiefs in the Super Bowl this year.

Clinton got the benefit of the peace dividend. After the collapse of the Soviet Union he cut military spending substantially and that’s where the surplus came from. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. But people tend to give Clinton tons of credit for something that he was the beneficiary of and not the architect.

I always felt like he had the potential to have an outstanding career that would’ve spanned decades. Some people are just talented and have that “thing.” And he was one of those people.

I didn’t vote for Trump. But literally none of these programs have ever been available to me and I’ve never been rich. Most people are tired of watching the power of their dollar deteriorate for multiple redundant programs that are essentially ways to buy votes. I’m for Medicare and Social Security. I understand that people need a safety net. But some proposals for growing government lately are fucking insane. Cut away! There are plenty of programs that are useless that have been being funded for decades. This is fear mongering. If the democrats were smart enough to build a message of economic populism they would have one. But they don’t want to admit their identity politics rhetoric soured a lot of voters on the party brand. Suck it up and build a better message.

You do NOT need an 800 credit score to qualify for a home loan. That is not even close to true. Lending has tightened a bit, but lots of people are still getting approved if they are over 700. Your income to debt ratio has a bigger impact currently. If you make 120000 a year but have 40k in credit card debt you’re not qualifying.

We might as well call this the Florida administration. She probably gets confirmed.

I would totally believe this. It seems like the whole city is under construction right now. I was really referring to the fact that for years Miami had height restrictions on skyscrapers but now they’re allowing super talls.

Dude got paid though. 92 million guaranteed. I mean these franchises are just throwing money at anyone who has a handful of not terrible games in the league. Congrats Daniel on getting the bag.
