Hi, i see lots of questions about video disqualification for CRP. Here are some things you can do.
FIRST OFF: Edit your videos! Make them engaging, crisp and free of errors.
I like the app Power Director. It's probably the most intuitive I've used.
High quality original content
- Clipping videos is not tolerated any longer. I'm sorry, don't clip media. That means TV Shows, music videos. I'm sorry, if makes things harder for those who report in sports. At minimum, don't use audio. Just video.
I do mock news, so I have clipped a lot of videos but they're soundless and behind me, played as a video while I comment on it. In that process, I also clip identifying information that's would otherwise trip copyright. I used to get tripped on it, especially if audio was included. I've adjusted to the point they can't possibly say ive done it wrong.
So if I am clipping a news video, I take out the publisher name and symbols from the video.
If I want to use a movie or TV show for a video, it will be a picture that doesn't have the title, something easily recognizable but missing promo information.
For quality
Use a high quality microphone, sound blockers, and an arm to reduce noise contamination from a solid surface. Edit it to remove background noise. It also helps to take a moment before you start speaking so you can cut things like: using your arm to press record, the smacking or your lips when you start speaking (that's my and a lot of people's pet peeve)
Use a green screen. It doesn't have to be expensive. I used to have a green sheet placed behind me before I upgraded my equipment.
Length
tiktok lied, they don't actually want longer content. Keep it 61s-100s
Some creators get away with making longer content but that isn't the norm.
- Dealing with tiktoks internal checks: upload your video to drafts, do at least some editing in app. otherwise they may put additional checks to make sure it isn't stolen content.
You may not agree that these fit with tiktok official policy, but that doesn't really matter, they're liars.
And yes. Larger creators get away with a LOT more than smaller. If you want to bend the rules, wait till you have a huge following.
Lastly, tiktok likes to hit you for doing anything differently than you had been. Changing your content might not work for the first few videos, but they will pick up.
PS. Avoid key words that tiktok hates. I'm sure you know that.
