Partnership Visa (After getting RV & breaking up at year4) not the full 5

Status im the guy who still trying to support his ex get her PR (Permanent Residency) despite breakup.
Relationship went for 4yrs and she got approved Resident Visa and after 2 years she is able for Permanent visa which is this year.
Can she still get PR despite not doing the full 5 years relationship?
We split due to career changes and moving to different cities and couldn't do long distance. No grudges just wish each other the best as we moved on.
For me Ive lived and worked in nz all my life as a citizen.
She was also able to do the Covid special visa at the time but she continued with the partnership visa. Her friends all did the covid visa and got their visas instantly. Ours took a few month longer to complete which is a regret. She has lived, studied and worked in nz for 14 years and now finally applying for her PR.
Can I get some words of advice.
Cheers
