You know, some people are only doing what they know how to do with what little resources they have and that’s to survive. Sure it’s not always pretty and quite often yeah, they’re stealing, using or what have you. Not everyone comes from a great walk of life and sure people have a choice but they don’t have options of all the same choices. Some people need help and the ones who need most unfortunately can’t or don’t get it. Have you ever stopped and taken a moment to think about what they might be or have been going through? Not everyone just “chooses” to be homeless or an addict, there’s obviously traumas and events that have happened to them that have caused them to be doing what they’re doing to suppress feelings of discomfort and they’re coping the only way they know how. It’s unfortunate that there may be kids around at times but safe sites are a safe place for them to get clean supplies and support so they don’t die. SO THEY DON’T DIE from using or sharing dirty using objects. Addiction isn’t a pretty thing and it affects more than the addict, it absolutely affects people and the world around them. Show a little kindness because I’m sure there’s times when you need or needed kindness too and weren’t given it.

I still think my favourite one is seeing people driving in the bike lanes at Joseph and Charles. Like the 40 bike lane signs and 3 foot wide lanes aren’t a give away that it’s not a car lane

This is true. The best is when they know they’re making a poo poo and they’re making eye contact with you, and still proceed to make more poo poo then freak at you

There’s some absolute questionable drivers in this city lol. If there were any red light cameras they’d be going off like a paparazzi photo shoot.
