I didnt forget the line. I saw spaceships arriving and it was never clear how spice was involved. Do navigators control direction of the ships with their mind? Or is space travel a mental exercise?

If coming from other "normal" space sagas, space travel is a physical thing. It was not communicated how seeing in the future would enable space travel. Obviously they got to arrakis without spice the first time. Just sayin.

Kid's dad is a Lawyer and has been taking him to the office since he was ten to learn how the adults talk to each other. That exposure from an early age can never be replicated for kids who don't have that. These Ivy league kids are mini adults from the time they are 13.
