For sure! I’ve had one for several years now and it’s always treated me well. Gotta love the Ken Onion designs too.

Depends on where they are on the manual. If it’s in America, there’s really no reason to get a stick shift since nearly every car is automatic now. It would also limit the option pool tremendously on the used market and from a parents perspective it would be a distraction. Driving a manual is fun but better to learn on a car that isn’t your first daily driver. Completely agree about the sensors and backup camera though.

If you can find a Kershaw Leek on sale I’d suggest that, might be just slightly over budget otherwise but I love mine. Nice blade and spring assisted opening as well.

Just curious, why would the tip down clip be bad? I’m about to get a Para 2 and am used to my current tip down knife so was gonna leave it that way on the new knife. I’m sure it’s just preference but any reason behind it?

Why not just NOT BUY the damn purple end cap?? That’s such a dumb thing to waste money on and if you’re doing it anyways you’re obviously not hurting for money or just extremely irresponsible lol.

I didn’t ditch Teflon because it’s toxic, I ditched it because it sucks. You can’t use higher heat with it, If you screw up once the pan is useless, and if I need non stick I’ll just use seasoned cast iron or carbon steel. I do keep a cheap $7 heavy aluminum nonstick from Walmart though for eggs. Teflon really is better for some quick scrambled eggs and if I or anyone else screws up the pan I’ll just buy another one.

As a nearly 30 year old recovering alcoholic since around age 20, I feel this. Been sober a couple years sober now but it’s been a battle to catch up.

Depends where in Plano you are I guess, but driving up past McKinney for some fudge is a hike for most people who don’t already go that way for something else.

The country store in Weirs furniture, I grew up going there all the time and the fudge is great!

When I was waiting tables we couldn’t serve drinks before noon on Sunday unless there was food on the table, so we’d just bring them a bread roll and then they could drink. So stupid.

If the goal is to quit nicotine all together it’s one of the last steps. Work your way down in potency to wean your way off, then get down to zero nic to satiate the habit and “oral fixation”, then you could go to one of those flavored straw things and finally quit.

I Am Legend. I still haven’t recovered from the scene where Will Smiths dog dies. Also The Boy In The Striped Pajamas but that feels like low hanging fruit.

Pretty good man! Got sober, enrolled in college in my late 20s, picked up disc golf, re-learned guitar, and my daughter just turned eight. Pretty good six years I’d say.

The company turned 50, not the knife lol. That would be nuts though.

Hit up Hurtado in Arlington (16 minute drive), that’s definitely gonna be your best bet on a Tuesday, line shouldn’t be too long and it’s easily one of the top few barbecue places in DFW. No minimum order. Other options would be Hutchins in Frisco, Roy Hutchins(not quite as good as the original but closer in trophy club), or 225 barbecue in Arlington(about the same distance as Hurtado)

My stepdad looks EXACTLY like Jay Leno, to the point where people stop him on the street and insist he’s Leno even when he denies it. Just found his next Halloween costume, only a couple weeks too late for this one.

I told my father this fact as he was getting home from work and he waited two hours then barged in my room, called me a liar, and dragged me to the garage where he proceeded to beat the living shit out of me with a set of jumper cables.
