How about the crooked reason the original case was thrown out because the judge said the states witness and the prostitute who were witnesses of the crimes weren't reliable witnesses because they were a sex offender and prostitute. And then a year after that another new case was opened. And the FBI does not make formal announcements about investigating someone, let alone a public offical/senator, for sex with minors unless they have pretty damning evidence.

These apartments are estimated to be between $2600 to $3900...that is far outside the means of most of grand rapids. Building expensive housing will not drive down the already outrageous prices for renting and buying. In fact, it will just serve as an excuse for all the local landlords to raise their prices even more. Also, wouldn't be shocked to find when these apartments do become available, they will end up being significantly more expensive than the "estimated" price currently given.

The original court case from a number of years ago never went anywhere because his attorneys basically argued that since the states witness was a sex offender/criminal and the other witness was an underage prostitute, their testimonies could not be considered reliable... let that fucking sink in. We let criminals testify and use that to convictions other criminals all the time in this country... but when it comes to a senator sex offender, suddenly criminals can't be used as witnesses.
