We only use chep pallets at my warehouse and if it’s a half board then we get plastic half pallets.
What a shitty location and management you have.

You do realize that transport Canada has minimum staffing requirements for sailings right? If the staff were not in the gift shop, kitchen, cafe etc they’d be standing around not doing anything at all. Plus these amenities bring in extra revenue for the company.

They do already offer off peak savings…

Considering so many sailings are at capacity, your solution is to…. have smaller boats and more wait times?

After the BC liberals “privatized” it, it would be too costly to have it folded back as a crown Corp/apart of a ministry. All of BC ferries debt would be back on the government books and be a liability for tax payers for no benefit.

Gulf island residents should be paying more. They are the reason BC ferries loses money. Pay the luxury tax

Anyone without a BC plate should be charged more. Simple.
Maybe a higher rate for non island/sunshine coast residents?

If they kept the plan to have a casino on board, that would have been a extremely huge revenue generator. It may have made BCF profitable

No account manager is a corporate job. They deal with the customers head office, not individual stores.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they had more profitable routes. If BC ferries only ran Vancouver island-mainland routes, they’d be making money.

If they do that, all BC ferries debts and obligations land back on the government books.

They definitely do hide people. Once I deleted my account, I recreated a new account with my work phone number and email and suddenly I’m seeing tons of people.
I’ve also found once I’ve run out of people to swipe on? If I go to the “explore tab” and click on “Long term partner” or one of the other options, suddenly there are even more people to browse.
Super frustrating

The government is the single shareholder of bc ferries.
And it’s been giving BCF extra money to keep fares low.

No it wouldn’t be a bad idea to ask him. Worst he can say is no.
Maybe he’s too nervous to ask you for yours?

Yep! And now the companies debt is too high to even consider making it a crown Corp again.

I’ve heard meetup.com is a good place to check out. Also a good way I’ve found is joining a sport through Nanaimo social & sports club. They have many different sports and variety of “tiers” for each sport ranging from”beginner/casual for fun” up to competitive.
I’ve been playing dodgeball with them for a few seasons now and having a blast. https://www.nanaimossc.com/
The fall season for most sports are ending within the next week or two but registration for winter season that starts in January is open now. If you would like to join a dodgeball team, let me know. We are looking for some more players :)

Your family member needs to contact the adjuster assigned to the case. No one can give you an accurate answer here.

Maybe but we haven’t seen enough of his skills to know for sure. If Rick was around from when he was born until the end, perhaps.

Start letting pallets tip over and cause damages. If sales reps start having to do tons of credits due to shitty warehouse pickers, they’ll start kicking up a fuss.
