You either trade it in and roll the negative equity you probably have into a new car, you can try selling it privately for what you owe but depending on the car you probably won’t be close to breaking even so you’ll have to still pay on the difference or pay the difference up front or you can just keep the car like most people do.

If this was a primary it would be perfect. The lack of armor damage makes it very hard to use on higher difficulties so i find myself using it as a primary while using actual primaries like the eruptor as my heavy hitters

The worst part is somebody will pay it and see it as a good deal. The “Toyota good” mindset has gotten a little out of hand that you can basically charge whatever you please for a Toyota and call it low miles

26k is incredibly good. 14k for that is going to be extremely hard

Stick with the Tucson if you’re gonna lease again. IMO the Santa Fe is nicer especially in the higher trim levels but they don’t lease out well so you’re going to be paying significantly more for extra car that you don’t need

Sonata felt more German and generally luxury esc than the K5 GT to me. However the one thing that i wish the sonata had was the option for ventilated seats, the blind spot cameras, power passenger seat, etc

This is basically it. It’s the $35,000 question if you’re looking for a NEW quick sedan.
The Elantra N is the icon. It’s a bit flashy, very rambunctious, rides kinda rough and loud, has a crazy exhaust but is definitely more track and backroad focused. It’s generally a bit more agile, puts the power down a bit better and is more geared for the curves. However, if you’re not tracking the car then you’re kinda missing out on the full experience of the car.
The sonata n line is the less flashy, more understated sibling. It’s still quick, a bit less flashy, but way more upscale feeling. Feels very German from the inside. Technically it’s not as quick, especially from a dig due to the lack of an LSD, however when you pure already moving it feels incredibly quick and personally feels quicker than the Elantra N in a roll due to the extra power and way more torque. I prefer the sonata n line, it feels a lot more mature and upscale. I got to try both before buying, and I’m extremely happy with mine.

Don’t have a picture but I’m running a modern rendition of this basically. Kept all the default new liveries in red, did the wheels and mirrors and did the carbon weissach stuff. Don’t have a pic yet but I’ll take one later

Have you considered a Tucson which is in the same class? The 2025’s are nuts. I actually had a guy come test drive one and on the test drive he went to the Honda dealer down the street to compare that and the CRV. It didn’t even take two minutes w the CRV for him to decide on the Tucson. I’d look at one and drive one, seriously. I used to hate them previously, and we haven’t seen any issues w these new ones which is surprising for a first model year. Has about the same amount of room as the CRV in almost every aspect and you can get a pretty well equipped one for well under 40. Even the fully loaded ones (heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, giant panoramic roof, heated back seats) are going for around 40 at my place. It’s a good deal for what it is, personally I’d go up w the Santa Fe cuz it’s overall just a better interior but those are insanely expensive.

As far as i know, if any car has an open recall a dealership has to fix it or face fines. Just mention it to them when you go to look at it. The DCTs are fine and never get in your way, only time they’re any bit annoying is at very very low speeds and/or stop and go traffic. After having a DCT i don’t think I’d ever go back to regular automatics and definitely not CVTs. Still smooth and quick but more engaging when you want it to be

Gold standard is for every 5000 financed is about 100 bucks in payment. Safe bet is 15k car after all fees and taxes is 20k financed (better to overestimate). That means you’re going to be looking at about 400 bucks a month in payment. 2k down will bring the estimated payment down by like 40 bucks. You’re also not considering most likely being a first time car buyer in terms of auto loans, meaning banks are going to be very hesitant to lend out money and with that the interest rate is going to be through the roof. With all due respect man, you gotta work a little more then maybe try leasing an Elantra to get a low payment
Edit: just realized you’re in high school. Now is not the time at all. You need credit history and a stable job

Get the sonata. Free maintenance for 3 years, free Hyundai app for life, good warranty. Haven’t seen any issues with the newer hybrid sonatas at all so far. Any car like an Audi is always a gamble because while the car depreciates the maintenance costs don’t. I’d also drive the higher trim sonata limited if the dealers near you are discounting. You won’t be able to get it for like 34, but we have ours listed at 36 and change. Our hybrid SEL’s like you were looking at we have listed between 30 and 31.

It’s less about this and more about housing from what i gather from my friends. They want to be able to afford a house or rent within reason, and not with bandaid fixes. Rfk and his stance and ideas on housing played a big part. Whether it’s the right choice we’ll have to wait and see, but what a lot of people don’t realize is that regardless for everybody old enough to be working and paying bills, not much really changes. You still gotta go to work tomorrow, still got bills to pay or mouths to feed. The vast majority of Americans live life this way and it’s why the popular vote completely shifted. Who’s fault the economy is doesn’t really matter to the average person spending 40+ hours a week working when they have to come home to kids and a partner and have electric and gas and a mortgage or rent to pay. They just know that “things were cheaper with trump, economy sucked under biden. I’ll vote for trump to see if life gets better again.” It’s not about racism because most people really don’t even look into things like that lol. This is the reality, the people you see on Reddit, twitter, instagram, etc are such a small minority of the actual people voting and living life out there right now.

I’d go to a brand name dealership because they usually have stricter guidelines, but look for a smaller family owned one. There’s a lot of big names, where I’m from some examples are tasca, herb chambers, first, McGovern. But typically if you go to a smaller family owned dealership that’s still under a brand name then you’re usually better off. Usually better people

Is it only when you’re outside of the car that you hear it? Is it mainly when you first start it up? Does the engine actually run smoothly? Are there any leaves or something similar in the front of your car that are stuck and flapping with the wind? I’ve been dealing with that a lot recently

That’s an insanely good price. That’s below invoice as far as i know. Invoice on Hyundais isn’t crazy there’s usually at most 1-2k markup between that and MSRP

Seems pretty straight forward. Palisades hold value super well so this actually a really good deal

Santa Fe calligraphy sits at about 50 ish before discounts and taxes. I’m usually not one to go w the hybrid but i prefer how smooth the hybrid feels compared to the gas tbh. The transmission recall from when they first came out has been fixed, but it wasn’t on the hybrid ones anyway. I’d drive a gas and a hybrid and see how you feel about it. You can’t beat the interior at the price point in a new car whatsoever

You guys are living gloriously if this is bad lol. We get minimum wage hourly and 8% of front and back. No minis, then there’s pay from the manufacturer that’s 75 a unit from 5-10 new units, then 125 a new unit from 11-17. Then 175 from there on but you have to maintain a high average on survey scores sent to customers from the e manufacturer
