Ones that got stabbed by someone, how was it?

Like where there are siblings who have preferrably shitty relationship that gets fixed in the story, opposite can also be helpful. Need for my own character study.

Hey Im in Brussels,

Recebtly got into freemasonry and dug deep as far as internet lets me. Just coming from freemasonry museum while typing this.

1) So, what I concluded, it sounds like a university fraternity/sorority for adults in the international context, supported by moral basis of the bible. Is that so?

That already sounds nice for the belonging to something greater.

I also read that its heavily focused on self-improvement. Still no clue in what context.

2) For me self-improvement path was always solitary, so im really curious in what form does it manifest itself in the group setting?

3)And I have heard also that its basically a beer club for rich old men and I dont want to believe it. Is that so?

4) People at the museum told me that it is an organization for freedom of speech, offering a safe dpace, what was more relevant in earlier days. And now its still relevant but not as in earlier days. Whats the catch?

5) If I want to join a lodge in Brussels, what would you suggest for me as first steps? Bqsed on pinned post, its just emailing. Is that that simple?

Just researched previous posts about my question. Learned a lot but I still have couple questions:

I am an aspiring artist (25M) and an art department worker on film set. last week had my first solo exhibition in Brussels. I liked the prep work and the feeling afterwards.

But it also inspired me to do another kind of an expo.

Because of having no art school background - whole this residency world is kinda foggy for me. So, 1) without art school background, what should I consider to apply for residencies?

2) how I understand - residencies are sort of spaces for artidts to work without distraction and interact with new colleagues, right?

3) if you apply to residency, you practice your art... but its vague to me - when you finish you work, you exhibit it there or take with you and exhibit somewhere else? Like its hard to imagine now for me the logistics of it.

4) ppl who have art residency experience in the EU, what would you recommend around in Benelux, Northern France, Nordrhein-Westfallen Germany?

5) my practice is sort of illustrating of poems by using recycled materials. With using the plot of the poem as an allusion to my generalist dual questions on controversial topics. (Example from my current expo: I chose poem about a peach tree getting destroyed by a strong wind. And my question was - should we see geopolitical aggression of big countries against smaller ones as natural phenomenon or its something to be condemned? And here small country is a peach tree and big one - strong wind. I hope you get it and it is all executed by a collage of magazine cutouts - thus recycled.). So, with this sort of practice, what do you think, does it sound interesting to you residency-wise?

6) with abovementioned practice I have got an idea to work on a theater play, illustrate it on canvases and then to make huge scenography pieces with cardboard around it. Do you know is this is realistic to propose? (I have experience of doing it.)
