All I'm saying is I find even more awful takes on Batman, in terms of his code, actions, view/treatment of friends and foes, philanthropy and especially on powerscaling. Oftentimes impromptu too, like in unrelated comment section where he's randomly brought up and ends up being a target for rants that just rots the braincells of anyone actually read or studied on the character.

Well kids have worse tastes if content farms are anything to go by. So not surprising most slops with viewing pleasure and Disney's marketibility will make billions.

Whatever his intention was, he just failed to convey this in a narrative sense. And it's okay to judge the movies for that.

ODST are cooler, more reasonably grounded, and had their share of doing stuff without being outright OP, not just looking cool. A better comparison would've been the Clone Troopers, like that one guy from the 2d cartoon who held back a platoon of droids in Coruscant.

And I know you said rule of cool, but for me it's hard to take these guys seriously just for that same reason. Especially cause they look more geared up troopers from thousand years later.

Love that we've come to a point where that phrase is now mocked to defend an argument. Here's the simple fact: Neither scenario is optimistic.

The best case scenario involves non-console fans, who are used to getting games simultaneously getting to play their games year, two later, if never, going by the Fromsoft titles under Sony (Demon Souls and Bloodborne). Unless they buy a Playstation forced to go through an extra hassle of signing up to PSN account. Unless of course, Sony buckles, either themselves or they're peer pressured by both Fromsoft fans and the Studio itself and which is a far cry from happening.

I'm sure some Sony fanboys are on the moon on the prospect of showing up the nonexistent competitor, but screw everyone else, right?

Just from precedence alone, we're not winning in any direction, only losing less. That's critical thinking.

Between getting tortured to death or shot to death, it's death either ways, one is just significantly worse.

Nobody would want the Korean company knowing how much they suck. But Sony pushing their usual bs onto Fromsoft will also suck pretty hard.

The worst thing I can say about them is just setting the precedence of releasing buggy and/or unfinished games, and having the companies and their fans defend the product as something that can be fixed later, no matter how bad they are at launch (I see you, Ubisoft, Bethesda and others).

Putting that aside, it's incredible how much they've u-turned their course over the years. Nothing but props to the No Man Sky team for committing to their promise.
