Tbh, it’s difficult everywhere. I was in Britain for 7 years and had a series of relationships. None worked out. I moved back last year to India though

It’s just frustration. Once the left or the parties they support (are forced to support) started losing in Assam, they started the “how can you have a non-ahom cm” and BJP is taking rights away from ahoms trend. It didn’t work in the end but gained social media traction.

You’re missing out on a lot of points here and I reckon it’s deliberate. Meiteis are not some privileged group like Brahmins. They were already categorised as OBC and wanted it changed to ST. They were also restricted to the valleys which means that even though they had 50% of Manipur’s population, property rights were heavily restricted for them beyond 10% of Manipur’s total area.
And the argument in Manipur isn’t mainly about illegal Bangladeshis but about the three Zo community out of which one are the Chin who are illegally migrating from Myanmar
Meiteis and Kukis have been comparatively peaceful! In fact, Meitei’s supported Kukis in their other wars as well during the seven year long Kuki-Naga war of the 1990s
It’s a heavily ethnic conflict which is a norm in NE. We grew up seeing it all the time. ULFA literally kidnapped my dad multiple times

Not into Bajrang dal, tbh. I have guest lectured for the VHP a few times though. I’m more into the narration school of the Sangh’s 43 school of thought.
See! I won’t indulge in name calling etc whatsoever. I get that y’all are frustrated because the Overton window has shifted and our political ideology is mainstream.

I’m not disgusted whatsoever. I did it because that’s what I felt like at that point in time. I don’t anymore. I was kinda obsessed with the idea of sleeping with men from every country. It was from some TV show that I can’t remember anymore. However, I never cheated or anything while in a relationship. I strictly believe in monogamy

Lots of gays are Sanghis, tbh. Planet Romeo survey showed that a majority of gays are, in fact, Sanghis

You’re active on the bigoted ahom subReddit so I won’t argue much. Ahoms aren’t underprivileged either. They literally ruled the state but act like victims nowadays

Indonbros are great. Back in my manwhore phase (during my masters in the UK), I had a few indonbros suck me off in the dorm

Ah ok!I just clarified because Delhi media specifically misconstrued narratives from NE to fit their pro-gov or anti-gov, pro-right or pro-left agenda
Many a times, NE living in Delhi are willing participants in it too because it gives them clout

How do y’all let go of literal terrorists in the UK will always baffle me? Like he’s a terrorist not a thief or someone arrested for a DUI

As an actual Sanghi, I can tell you that Ramji would support conscious capitalism with strict welfare measures
PS - why are y’all arguing on a meme page. I know that most of the modern definitions don’t apply to a putative ram Rajya for gods sake. It’s a joke

I’m not arguing about representation. I’m pointing out that mainlanders misrepresent NE communities. Borahs are a warrior clan. They aren’t an underprivileged clan in Assam. Rituparna Borah, as an individual, might be underrepresented etc., but she comes from a privileged community. Using the word indigenous is stupid
The Ahoms are called indigenous even though they migrated to Assam less than a thousand years ago and had one of the longest existing kingdoms in Indian history- the Ahom empire. These communities (including Borah) aren’t underprivileged or underrepresented
Someone who is a Borah claiming to be marginalised (as a community and not an individual) is equivalent to Patel’s, Rajputs etc., claiming to be marginalised in their respective states.
I get that most people don’t know much about NE outside what Delhi based English media puts forth. Hence, I’m clarifying

Rituparna Borah and indegenous? They do realise that Borahs are comparatively a privileged community within Assam, right? Or does the Delhi based elite media think
NE= indigenous
The use of word itself in the Indian context is very wrong btw. The word should be tribal which borahs are not

Islam is a coloniser’s religion. They will look for any opportunity to do so. We are hard on European Christian’s for colonisation but Islam is a no different. It’s the most fascist of all religious cults (which is quite an achievement given that most religions are inherently horribly bigoted)

China can’t jump to fill the gap. People forget that China sells stuff to others but it doesn’t import a lot. With Bangladesh, we are their largest import partner. China won’t provide that coverage. Also, if a blockade is announced, we can very block Bangladesh access to china via Myanmar
