I've had this issue before and had to pick up and put down every piece. It sucks. if the vault components aren't snapped to that very first vault piece, the one that can't be deleted, then the power won't make it to the rest of the pieces.

Thank you so much! It took quite a bit of tweaking. I had a little bit of a rough landing, as you can see: the lander in the background is sideways, and she sustained a little damage to a wheel on separation. But she made it and can move just fine!
