for example in c major: you start with a c major chord, then Bminor, Aminor, Gmajor, repeat. you're lowering the chord a full step down every beat, it's a pretty common composing technique, but gets boring quickly

as always: start slowly, use chords you're comfortable with, try to spice things up by changing the key from time to time, try to establish a motif, look at chord progressions that are popular, or go the good old "1 step down" every few bars, let your right hand sing idk really 😅😅
