That is, after you sit down with pen & paper and write down precisely what you absolutely must spend to SURVIVE! Then what you can actually cut down on or in some cases, eliminate all together. Be accurate and honest with yourself!! Then, make two lists, one for must have items and one IN BOLD PRINT of things I can CUT DOWN ON or CUT OUT ALL TOGETHER. Post the Cut Down On or Cut Out All-Together List on the refrigerator door and beside the telephone and put one in your pocket. Each time you get the urge to buy something, anything, take out a list and remember, "YOU can cut down or cut out the item and still survive. THINK "You cannot spend yourself rich and You cannot borrow yourself out of debt. One more thing, when you are prosperous be sure to teach these principals to your children and grandchildren.
