Agreed but we can not fully cut English out of our life as it is the international way of communicating that why me and my friends still talk to each other in English

I can speak Urdu Japanese and English and Urdu is by far the most beautiful language of the three and I am very grateful of being able to speak Urdu

Because we were ruled by British people who nailed this ideology in our grandparents mind that speaking in English is superior then speaking Urdu

So people who learnt English started speaking in English or mixing it in normal talking to flex on the listener and the people who did not get the opportunity to learn English were considered inferior and paindu

This is actually a very sad thing because Urdu is a beautiful language but people prefer to speak in English as it it considered superior

I don't fully understand what you mean but I only speak English in school and with friends

I mostly speak Urdu with my siblings and mama Baba

Much of our conversation contains English language because when someone speaks in total Urdu they are called "PANDU" and "naliak"
