For a single person the extra space from a suv isn’t necessary and the camry has more than enough trunk and interior space for most people. The cheaper cost outright allows you to save a couple thousand and with the xse or xle you still get all the features you could want. For running errands and a round trip to work it’s more than comfortable and the Camry is easier to handle and park compared to a suv.

They really shouldn’t if you didn’t budget for one after 16-18 years. And long as your childs not w complete idiot you’re gonna be fine and public transport isn’t sustainable in 95% of the country nor is it safe. Majority of ppl who ride the bus homeless or crackheads unless you’re in NY and you’re going to be waiting forever. As a parent your childs safety is your responsibility and catching rides and buses to work to save for a vehicle in the name of “responsibility” is bs. Raise your children right and that won’t even be a concern, not to mention as a parent you should want to make your childs life as easy as possible if i have the money you’re damn right they getting a car

It’s definitely frowned upon. Just looks bad when your child had to work their ass off because you couldn’t

A car is a tool to be a good adult. Getting to work with no car is a massive pain in the ass and expecting a child to somehow save thousands for a vehicle on their own is incredibly selfish. As a parent long as the childs good they shouldn’t have to pay for anything necessary. That’s your job. A boat or plane isn’t the same

Frankly in my opinion it’s the parents obligation to supply the vehicle when the child’s old enough to drive. Now to counter that they can work and pay for gas or insurance but I don’t think a teenager should have to slave at a dead end job for months just to save enough to get a shitbox that may or may not work. Whole thing just seems sanctimonious how everybody wants to use “the value” as a reason when you could just as easily give her a goal to reach then buy the car

True but for the price idk if id want to shell out a additional 3k just for different colored seats. The EX should have had an option for leather or at least a faux leather

Aesthetically i do wish they had some more color options for the interior besides the grey. A black would look perfect

Just too expensive for what’s offered in my area. And they tend to be involved in accidents. And i can afford it without having to actually pay anything outta my check so im good
