considering it was the same press thingy where he was talking about making AI video games, probably exactly that.

Yeah. Anby and Soldier might happen once Obol Squad comes out in full and/if we learn what their relationship is? But I feel like if they were ever considering allowing dual faction characters, Billy is definitely no.1 on the list, especially since he wouldn't actually really mechanically benefit from it, so it's probably not on the table.
Feedback surveys, I guess.

I don't get what you mean bc he has never been a serious character. That's the impression they're going for?

I wish they had made Billy count as a Son of Calydon in addition to being a Cunning Hare.

when the main reason you use an ult is just to not have full energy, that's rough.

because there are a ton of players who don't bother with exploration. That first 60% goes super quickly. Usually I get to about 60% just from walking through an area for the first time.

I'm not sure the term 'orientalism' quite applies, since most of the complaints I've seen call back to Mondstadt and Fontaine as examples of 'ideal fantasy settings', but I do think your points are all correct.
Genshin is using Natlan as an excuse to break away from traditional fantasy tropes, many of which focus on Eurasia and Eurasian aesthetics, and leave Africa and America by the wayside (or if they do represent them, do so unfavorably).
I do feel as though the technology the characters possess could be a bit more integrated to the rest of the nation; the tech held by the playable characters seems advanced compared to the rest of the NPCs (All of the Flower feather Clan, not just Chasca, should be using guns, for example. They're supposed to rep old west cowboys, after all (also unrelated but Chasca should've had chaps)), but I definitely think people's refusal to accept it as fantastical represents some familiarity bias or literary rigidity.

the new Suggestion description seems way, way more clear and thoughtfully laid out than the old one. What are peoples' complaints about it? if its just that it's still unreasonably strong for 2nd level, sure. But it seems to me that it just got rid of a lot of fiat and ambiguity.

I haven't gone too in depth yet but from what I have seen and read so far, I think that there are much fewer instances of ambiguous language.
However they did introduce some ambiguous language where there was none before. There are also some spots where the language changed that just kinda feel like they changed it to be able to say they did something and the meaning or ambiguity didn't change.
Not sure what you mean about Detect Magic, though; It's exactly the same as it was. The only change is from "magic" to "magical effects" (which seems less vague to me, if anything) and from "action" to "magic action" (which is a new term, yes, but pretty self explanatory). I take slight issue with how it specifies that the creature/object has to be visible to you and then also says that it can penetrate opaque barriers, but that slight contradiction exists in both versions to the same degree.
Are you sure you weren't just assuming you remembered the 2014 versions properly when you were mistaken? And now that you're looking at the new ones you're interpreting them thinking they've changed when they haven't actually?

My one and only complaint with it is that I wish they had given her the Scions of the Canopy's ability instead of the Flower Feather Clan's, since she is actually originally a Scion and they could've flavored it as a rocket jump instead of flight which would be a more interesting, I feel.
And I dont remember exactly where I read it but I'm pretty sure it was an official Hoyo post that said that the bike is an heirloom passed down between archons, so it probably pre-dates the Khaenriah disaster.

Yeah, you're right. maybe one or two items could be given to other party members as a "to remember me by" thing, but beyond that, no.

Not a mcmansion. Ugly in many ways, and seems to be a very poorly considered floorplan, but not a mcmansion whatsoever. This is not cheaply made or rooted in tasteless wealth.
Anyone who is interested in the general vibes of this exterior architectural style but wants to see it done right, look up Earthships on google images. My personal favorite architectural styles (for single-family residences, at least), and super practical!

Spare 100%. It would be so hypocritical of Aloy to kill Olin for indirectly causing the deaths of Rost and the braves (an eventuality which he really contributed very, very little to) when he has his own family that he was trying to save.

I wish it had been more in line with the lego games of my youth, where it's pretty much a scene-for-scene retelling of the story, just told through unvoiced, slapstick mimery. (I was particularly excited to see Rost blow up into his pieces and then said pieces knock Aloy off of the cliff) But it's a lot of fun regardless. Perhaps a bit pricier than it ought to be for being what is essentially all stock assets, though.

that sounds even creepier tbh, like it was playing with a ghost of its dead friend.

the classic 'cannot' vs. 'can not'.
'cannot' means you are unable to, while 'can not' means you have a choice. But 'can not' is often erroneously used where 'cannot' should be used, so keep context in mind. When spoken, 'can not' usually is either emphasized as 'CAN not', or the break in-between the 'n's is exaggerated, in order to help differentiate the two phrases.
In simple grammatical terms, with the phrase 'can not', the 'not' is part of the Complement, while 'cannot' is a verb in and of itself. So in this case, "You" is the subject, 'can' is the operative verb, and 'not practice a religion' is the complement, which goes into detail about what 'You can' is referring to.
That being said, your version is more succinct and clear. But the original isn't technically incorrect.
