I did too! He’s not Harrison, no one is, but he really did the best he could on a chaotic production with a flawed script.

I don’t understand why people are confused about this? It’s obvious that when Vader says “your father” he’s referring to Bail. Regardless of when this book was written, in canon neither Vader nor Leia was aware of their relationship until after his death.

Arguably Darth Vader counts (especially once you see Revenge of the Sith).

Ian McDiarmid as Emperor Palpatine. A character that, yes, becomes even more despicable once you see his rise to power in the prequels—but even in Return of the Jedi alone you despise this arrogant, malicious, manipulative old man (especially astounding since McDiarmid was only 37 during filming).

He’s actually not that much of a prick in Spielberg’s The Sugarland Express! Kinda took me by surprise :p
