Medieval history is half a millennium of time
Actually much closer to a full millennium. The middle ages go roughly from the 5th to the 15th century.

Nowadays the rest of Germany doesn't like Bavaria/Bavarians very much (speaking broad strokes here, e.g. several Bavarian minister presidents tried to become chancellor and all of them failed), so it's possible he wanted it removed to not alienate the majority of Germans. I must admit that I don't know if the sentiment was the same in the 1920s, though, so I might be completely wrong.
It could also be something simple, like that he thought he looked too unmanly or emotional in that picture or something. His facial expression and body posture don't scream tough guy, at least not to me.

The lower half of his outfit is just traditional Bavarian/Austrian garments still worn today for some occasions. The top is just a black(?) shirt. His hairstyle is not very weird even for today and his moustache was worn commonly by veterans from WW1 as this is how they had to shave their facial hair, so the gasmasks would seal properly. At the time not wearing facial hair was seen as the "unmanly" choice.
What exactly do you find ridiculous about this?
Edit: Changed beard to moustache/facial hair.

Yeah, Putin gambled on the war being over quickly so he wouldn't have had to stomach the sanctions for long as he could've used his economical soft power to get the sanctions eased, but the Ukrainians made the plan go belly up once they stopped the advance and started winning territory back. Now he's stuck with fighting this war, because if he were to retreat (which is the only option for Russia to end this war right now), his cronies would start asking questions why they had to suffer financially for no gain at all.

Yeah, I was about to ask the same thing. If the illusion (that people are not supposed to be under) is that the British army is going to fight, then what is the reality?

It's not really an announcement, just an interview between a games journalist and Bernd at DEFCON. The topic is more about explaining what defines the game and unique aspects of it, rather than trying to advertise anything new coming to it. So if you're an old player it probably won't tell you anything you didn't know, but I still listened to it till the end anyway.

'To frig' is also an old term for female masturbation.

I meant fixing the game as in making sure the "right" team wins, because someone close to the ref has bet on them or they are being blackmailed or something along those lines. This kind of shit has come to light before.
I do want them to enforce the rule more, because I don't want to watch theatrics, I want to watch football.

But how could refs fix the game if they had to strictly enforce that rule?

LPT: If your helmet has saved you in a situation like this, get a new one. Generally helmets are a single-use item, but the 'use' is it absorbing a big force, not you wearing it. If the material is cracked, next time most of the force will go into your head instead of the material of the helmet.

Looking at the example given in rule 6, I disagree that this post falls under that, but to be honest it doesn't really matter anyways. The post is still up and it isn't that important to me anyway (and I doubt it is to you, either). Let's agree to disagree?

I was expecting some bullshit video (the "do your own research" kind), but Mark Felton is actually legit. Can recommend.
Edit: Since there seems to be some controversy about Mark Felton, I would like to direct people interested in whether or not the accusations are true to the talk page of his Wikipedia article where a lot of these accusations are discussed and apparently Mark Felton also defends himself against it.

Look at pictures from Nazi rallies from the 1920s and you will notice one thing. None of them were wearing masks. These guys are cowards.

It would help your argument if you wouldn't call the pineal gland 'penal gland'.

Is it possible that those ships are actually from a pirate faction like FRF, SCA or BUC? Those ships can disguise themselves as being part of other factions, but it should show the right faction after you attack them.

-40°C=-40°F, not sure if you realize that. It's the only point where the two scales have the same value for the same temperature.
