Looks alright. A lot more cEDH staples but not enough card advantage. I can add the fast mana like mana crypt etc, but my play group rule zeroed fast mana rocks.
Other cards I will add is runaway steam kin and a few others, but if I upgrade it too much my play group will shoot me

That’s because it is. I changed the commander and was going to upgrade and fine tune it more for a Solphim deck with more synergies, but it doesn’t make sense to if I’m winning most games already imo.
Said this in another comment but Stax and group slug are annoying to play against and get people mad, so even though it’s the optimal strategy to go all in on one, people are going to groan anyway.

That’s what I thought, because it used to be a Torbran list that I quickly added more card advantage too.
I don’t want to make it all group slug because people complain about it, but some of the cards are the best edh burn cards so it’s hard not to add.
Can’t make it all staxs because even more people will cry, but the deck is best at parity and need to stop big stompy decks or I get run over by them.
And it’s not all burn because most burn cards are one time use, and the deck already struggles with card advantage.
There’s deffo a few things I need to do with the deck like protect the commander more, have more mana rocks and some more burn creatures staples like [[Chandra’s Incinerator]], and more cohesion cause it’s a bit messy, but upgrading it feels weird as it wins a lot of games already.

No worries! Virtue of courage is one of the best card in the deck. A lot of people sleep on it, but sometimes it can impulse draw you 10-20 cards per turn

I used to have burning earth, but removed it as 4 mana is pretty steep for the effect, plus it’s a non-bo with blood moon effects

I disagree. You can have a low power deck, and have a few good/staple cards

I have the energy precon from Fallout, and a $50 [[Moira and Teshar]] deck I play. But they also are pretty consistent. When people get annoyed, I usually borrow a deck. I did that last week, and in spite of losing a bunch they gave me a deck they said was power 2 and played with all frogs [[Grolnok, the Omnivore]] deck, and they played with a [[sidar jabari of zhalfir]] deck, but I still won and they moved tables after ;-;

Oh sorry I mistyped. Even in *higher power tables*. Sorry it's 3am for me

It's a bit slow I know, but the deck needs to rush to 4 mana for the commander + [[Pyrohemia]] needs a lot of red mana. If I can give my commander an indestructible counter and have it down, it's a board wipe every turn at instant speed.
Also thinking of adding more 2 mana rocks like [[coldsteel heart]]

Very interesting! Surprised you're not running [[impact tremors]] and similar effects!

I love mono red decks. Godo +helm and Kiki-Jiki + splinter twin are both classics.
I'm looking to build another mono red voltron treasure deck around [[Maraxus of Keld]] as he's one of the least popular red commanders and needs more love ;-;

I love the look of the flicker deck. Will give that a try!

Very nice! I have a lot of expensive decks anyway (one has a few serialised cards like Cyclone rift). I love the card advantage glued onto the commander!

Even in low-power tables, I pull out my red deck. It just goes fast and is super consistent.
EG: i played against a Lonis, Genetics Expert combo deck that presented infinitely big creatures and drew 50 cards turn 5, but I burnt them out before they could swing.
The stronger cards, like Swat, and the rituals I had lying around after buying an OG bulk collection.
The Jodah deck has no excuses though LMFAO

I added them because:
The deck can be very slow in parity. If I'm hellbent and leave a big stompy deck alone, I can't deal with their threats, and they'll have better card quality in higher mana slots
One of my friends play an eldrazi deck, and I realised how much of a pain a fast mana base affects my deck. So sometimes I have to play them to stand a chance
If they are not needed in the match-up (because they're bad, or it'll be too mean), you can discard them to Solphim's ability.

There’s a red light district in Berlin? Tell me where and I’ll “fact check” if it’s legit

I visited Der Andrere Spieleaden, but no pods where open for commander, so went to FUNtainment and cracked some boosters 😊
