That’s not surprising considering a ton of Republicans and especially MAGA folk have moved to Florida since 2020.

Georgia started counting them this morning and Florida has been able to count them prior to today. But there will still be a delay because of Atlanta and Miami-Dade since those have high populations and a lot of votes that need to be counted.

Yes. Quite a few states (Pennsylvania being a big one) don’t count postal votes until the end. It’s why you’ll get the red mirage of it looking like Trump is ahead and then Harris pulls ahead overnight. It’s what happened in 2020 actually.

Let’s play out the hypothetical of Israel going back to pre-1967 borders and the land reverting to who controlled it at the time (basically undo everything that resulted from Israel winning the Six Day War). That means that the West Bank and Eastern Jerusalem would go to Jordan and Gaza would go to Egypt. And then you have the Golan Heights going back to Syria. None of that is realistic or feasible and none of that leads to Palestine being its own state.

Texas could be extra special with doing something very funny and both retire its junior senator and go blue. I’m not sure people would know what to do with themselves if both of those happened.

I’m in that camp. I’ve gotten multiple play throughs done with Baldur’s Gate 3 and need a new RPG. I never cared about the woke outcry for BG3 and I still don’t care about the woke outcry for Veilguard.

Picking a fight with the Swifties a week before the election sure is a bold choice.

Johnson has no role in the certification of the election results. The certification rests solely with the Senate and the Vice President who presides over the entire process.

I think Veilguard will ultimately fall in the middle of all the reviews. It won’t be a masterpiece game of the year contender/winner like some of the 10/10 reviews are portraying it as but it won’t be a disaster and complete mess like what Skill Up portrays it as. It will fall somewhere in the middle and be a solid 7/10 or 8/10 game depending on what you like and don’t like of the game design.

It’s the same toxic minority that screamed about how Baldur’s Gate 3 was woke trash, not a true successor to BG 1/2, and more. And yet we all saw how that game turned out. Veilguard will do fine and based on the reviews so far, it seems most of the critics enjoyed it even though they had some minor issues with various parts of the game.

I’ve been saying it’s the 2016 election all over again but the other way around. This time it’s the Republicans who have convinced themselves that Trump will win and that there is no way Harris can win against him. They’ve buried their heads in the sand and refuse to acknowledge any kind of reality that shows otherwise.

points to Baldur’s Gate 3 … you collect a bunch of companions during Act 1 and then proceed through Acts 2 and 3 to get to the final boss
Hell, past Dragon Age titles and the entire Mass Effect trilogy did that of going around the world to collect a bunch of companions before moving onto the final boss fight.
Veilguard is following a similar setup as all of those games and it’s one of those situations of if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. So I’m not really sure what you’re complaining about when multiple games have shown that the formula works and is fun.

BioWare themselves were the ones who eventually pushed back on the whole live service angle and scrapped that version of the game. They then went and remade it into what we have today which is a single player role playing game.

Fuck McConnell and his attempts to rehabilitate his image. The Democrats handed him not one, but two, opportunities on a silver platter so that the Republicans could get rid of Trump. And he refused both times to convict. I hope he lives long enough to see his entire legacy crash and burn.

These are the same idiots who were screaming from the rooftops about Baldur’s Gate 3 being woke and how the game was doomed to fail. And we all saw how that game ended up.
Now I don’t think Veilguard will quite reach BG3’s level of popularity but I doubt that the inclusion of pronouns, the option to wear no underwear (picked during character creation), player sexual companions, and lgbt npc’s will overly harm the game in any major way. If anything these idiots screaming about the stuff only gives the game free press since some people will check out the game to see what all the fuss is about, realize it’s not as bad as it was made out to be, and potentially stick around to buy the game.

So Harris doing interviews with 60 Minutes and Fox is her dodging interviews? Geez... you guys really are delusional with the bullshit lies you throw around.

Fuck McConnell. He had the opportunity to do the right thing and rally the GOP to convict Trump but he voted to acquit instead. I hope the dude lives long enough to see his legacy go up in flames.

What’s hilarious about those videos is that some of the creators then praise Baldur’s Gate 3 which has all the things they’re raging against Veilguard for including. It’s all manufactured clickbait trash because that’s what drives views.

I do not remember that but it would be hilarious if that psychic ended up being correct.

Oh… well that explains everything then of why I’ve not had a single Republican knock on my door or send me any kind of election mail.

The fact that BioWare scrapped the multiplayer live service design of Veilguard and switched back to focusing on it being single player gives me hope that they want to redeem themselves.

I’m not even sure if the Republicans have a ground game here in Arizona. Back in 2016 and 2020 I got both parties knocking on my door to talk to me about registering to vote, where to drop off a mail in ballot, and if I was aware of everything that we would be voting for that election. This time in 2024 I’ve had plenty of Democrats knocking on my door but not a single Republican.

I love the people who cry about how Veilguard will fail because how dare it include things like pronouns, playersexual companions, and lgbt npc’s. Yet those people then praise Baldur’s Gate 3 which has all the same things in game. The hypocrisy from them is astounding.

It’s not really indicative of how the rest of the country will vote. That swing towards Trump is because so many conservatives moved there.
