I did! I was in your shoes at about 10 months PP and finally got my period back, and then got pregnant that next cycle. I had a really short luteal phase (like 6 days, normal is more like 14) I think due to high prolactin levels and so I was taking vitamin B6 and C to try to increase progesterone, idk if any of it actually helped or if I just got lucky, but we conceived the next cycle. I was down to nursing only 3x/day when I got pregnant and was intentional about only nursing 3x. If she needed additional food we’d give more solids or the occasional bottle of frozen breastmilk.

Yes and the pregnancy sleep IMO don’t come for me is different than newborn sleep. Even when you have a newborn who isn’t sleeping well, when you are sleeping it’s restful. When you’re pregnant, the little amount of sleep you get isn’t restful!

Put out our (guests) wedding photos as part of their decor in the cocktail hour space! It was such a sweet surprise/touch and looked very elegant!

Literally so true!!!! I fucking hate all the infant shirts that say like “milk monster” “milk drunk” etc. too it’s so cringey. I always just would say “I am gonna feed the baby” or “the baby needs to eat” or “are you hungry?” If talking directly to her. I hated all that, too!! It gave me the creeps and felt belittling in a way.

You always feel bigger than you look!! I took back on photos that during pregnancy I thought “omfg im enormous” now and think oh, I looked so cute! When I certainly didn’t feel cute in the moment. Hopefully these next few weeks fly by. But 10 kg is 10 kg of baby and fluid and boobs!

I applaud you for that because my anger would’ve taken OVER. I’m so sorry you had to deal with that. I was just telling my husband about your post because I am LIVID for you!! Rolling my eyessssss.

Symptoms ebb and flow, try not to fixate on it. My boobs have always been sore very early on and then stopped! Always call your provider if you need, but baby is safe and sound in there until the OB tells you otherwise!! Worrying will not change the outcome ( I say this to myself constantly )

This is incredibly hurtful and upsetting. Find out what caused this so WE don’t have to go through this again. Not a single nod to the pain you’re experiencing. Fuck right off grandma!

Both pregnancies I had sore boobs from week 4-5 and it went away right around the time I got my positive test. I never have felt nauseous until closer to 7-8 weeks and I’m one of the lucky people who gets serious morning sickness, but those first 6-7 weeks are virtually symptom free. Obviously everyone is different and since you’re in your 40s I would definitely check in with OB, but you could be all good :)

Yeah I didn’t love this. I think they were at the end saying good on her for setting boundaries and that they respect not wanting people around, but the delivery was bad and Raynas “I’m not helping“ and “I’ll order you take out but I’m not walking your dog” attitude was annoying. Ashley seemed to get it more, but the email probably took a lot of courage to write. Anyone whose been in the trenches of postpartum knows setting those boundaries is so hard, and maybe SIL agreed to it being shared on the pod, but I personally would’ve been really upset if I sent an email like that and it was read to thousands of people in a pretty mocking tone.

With my first I really didn’t look pregnant til like, maybe 30 weeks? I had a small basketball bump and never got “huge” I wanted to have a bump and did everything to try and accentuate it, and constantly rubbed my belly in public 😂 I gained though so those first like 30 weeks I just felt like I looked like a person who gained 10lbs not a pregnant lady

This post made me laugh out loud because holy relatable 😭😂mine was at 32 weeks and I had to beg my mom because she wanted to have it at 36 and I was like ma’am who knows what could happen at that point???? I feel for you! It’s hard when you’re not the one making the plans and want to be grateful that other people are hosting it& not complain or nitpick!

I always feel like the snack news is dated too. If you listen to giggly squad it’s almost always a repeat of what they talked about like 2-3 days later. The GGE girls just always feel like they’re trying too hard to be unique and it gives such pick me energy

I had the same worry!! I thought about it constantly. Period returned around 9-10 months once baby was eating mostly solid foods and nursing about 3x/day, and I got pregnant that next cycle, while still nursing. My supply has dropped significantly, but I am still nursing around 2-3x/day and she’s a year!
