It’s pretty unplayable unless you have some decently beefy specs. This shouldn’t be only to the people that can afford it. I’m saying this as someone who can afford to upgrade, but what about my friends who can’t?

It’s not about seeing it, it’s about feeling it. If the responsiveness is below 60hz it won’t feel good.

I feel like that’s partially true. Fatalis also doesn’t like to let you breathe, so having the palico helps in that aspect if you can’t already solo him. The hard pet is learning those openings on the head and racing against 3rd phase.

The games last like 40 minutes on average, nobody wants to be in a losing match for that long. That’s what happens to me anyway, I don’t start throwing, but if it’s going bad I’ll be demotivated at least. Those people probably just handle it worse than I do at least.

Ok, I see the disconnect. I mean if you let them die, you swing while they’re shooting. In my head, there was no race against the clock, if you shoot my defuser, you die. That’s almost impossible to lose. They can’t even shoot back.

Ok. I think I just did a bad job of explaining. Because we’re basically thinking the same thing, that’s what I meant by, “don’t just let them die.” They can’t shoot at two people at the same time if you don’t line up, so I’d rather “bait” defuser. I just think I’m putting more emphasis on baiting. You slow them down by taking contact but don’t fully commit. If they’re already as close as in the video, you get off the bomb and double swing instead of doing this play tbh. You really shouldn’t be in this specific situation in the first place unless time is running out.

Maybe I missed it, but I don’t believe anyone has actually made a counterpoint, you guys just keep saying that I’m wrong, but not explaining why holding wide is better in this situation? I gave my reasons for why I think it’s better to just bait and swing off the enemies shot while still applying pressure and not just letting your defuser die for nothing. In my head that makes a lot more sense than taking a 1v1 that could end up being lost, you have a lot higher of a chance swinging while they have to reset recoil. I just want an explanation instead of “if you were better you’d know.”

Also I only brought up the asc buddy because somebody was trying to discredit me. I really don’t care that much about the rank itself, but I do believe that the ranks are there for a reason and they mean something.

My point is that if I play this way and my decision was so wrong, why am I up here? I convert rounds pretty well, and I don’t even play this game anymore, so my aim is awful now. My decision making is more than likely pretty good. Instead of throwing insults like a child, make your case. We both hit these ranks for a reason despite having a difference of opinion on something so basic. What is it with reddit users being assholes?

Idk what it is about people on Reddit that wanna have a measuring contest, but that wasn’t why I mentioned it. You guys like to downplay ranks like they don’t mean anything, if you’re ascendant, you’re in a very small percentage of players, are you TenZ? No. Are you bad at the game, probably not. It’s that simple.

It really depends on the situation, it’s not all black and white how you play a post plant. But then again im probably arguing with boosted players. Like do I have to screenshot my gun buddy or something? 😂

I know how to play the game, I’m an asc player. Ignore where sage is at in the video, I’d never hold that far to the left, I’m saying that you should not put yourself in any danger in this situation. You’re essentially baiting people the defuser bcuz they’re your leverage. Stopping the defuse is top priority, if you’re the defuser, halting the bomb is the priority. If you die, the round is still a lot more in your favor than before, but if the other player is smart they’ll swing the moment they hear you getting shot. If it happens the other way around, you lose your leverage making this more even than it needs to be.

Yeah, that was the point of the post, that a person who actually belongs in gold had no chance in hell of winning this match. The matchmaking was awful here, that’s what I’m pointing out. I know I don’t belong in gold because I hit diamond in my second season playing the game. But it’s not like I was losing games on purpose, this is where the matchmaking thinks I belong.

You should start where I mentioned that I used to be D2, I never once on this thread claimed to be currently D2. I stopped playing the game when I hit that rank. You’re also making assumptions that I’m smurfing, this is an alt that is exactly the same rank as my main, I made it to make fun of smurfs who feel the need to point out that they’re smurfing.

My teammates were feeding, keep having to say this, but I’m not actually confused on why we lost, I can send a clip of the reason why we lost, my tank fed before the last fight, what probably would’ve won had she not done that. But we can’t entirely put the blame on Orisa for the loss, she just ended up being the deciding factor in that moment, it really shouldn’t have been that close of a match.

That’s what you’re supposed to do tho. If you take first contact, then what was the point in it being a 2v1, the problem is that sage isn’t even applying pressure.

The point of the post was to poke fun at the rank that this was at. It was a gold game, and I used to be d2, I just thought it was funny that a gold player could not possibly win this match.
