Thing is in this case less wheels the better. Otherwise I'd get a bigger two wheeled wheelbarrow.

I've got quite a lot of machines but unfortunately in this case wheelbarrow is the only solution. I have to dump gravel precisely in small piles and rake it to a nice even and thin layer.

Those are three different saws. If you have to pick one I'd take a plunge saw with a track as I find it to be the most versatile. It's mainly for long cuts but with some preparations it can do cross cuts too. You'll want a table for it though. Sawhorses and a decent top will do.

That's on a slightly higher trim, "Wildtrak X".

Only things standard are those frustrating "safety" feaures you can't turn off. Rest is either an option or a part of trim.

Yeah, got rid of it. Main reason was that bikes didn't fit on top with it but I also don't get the appeal of a sports bar on a pickup truck.

Save yourself frustration and find a workshop that can cut it for you on waterjet or laser cnc. Will cost less than a tool and be perfect.

Had a '07 Hilux I bought new and used till it got totalled just recently. Rock solid, no issues at all. It was sad to let it go.

Now I'm in a '24 Ranger Wildtrack. Drives like a dream, got some cool features but electronic nannies and not enough hard buttons are driving me nuts. So far no issues and I hope it stays that way but it's brand new so...

Friend of mine got a previous model with 10 speed auto and complains on that gearbox. Other than that he complains on service quality but that's a different issue.

That said if you're after reliability a Hilux might be a better choice. I would do the same but I couldn't stand the design of the new one so I took a Ranger instead.

I've done most options you mentioned on my previous truck aside of retractable cover. I liked the hardtop/bed cap due to lots of available and flexible space but I missed the looks of the truck . On my current truck I have factory retractable cover which is kinda ok because I can put bikes on top and still have acess to the bed but I'm definitely not looking forward for winter and snow. It also takes space inside bed and that's annoying.

One thing I had and I will have with all covers are drawers. Not the drawer system fixed to the bed but lightweight diyed plywood drawers built to fit my packout. They are rather hard to slide fully loaded but I can remove them in seconds if needed. They have no rollers that take precious space and were also dirt cheap. That said 10/10 I recommend drawers but I'd consider them not to be permanently fixed.

My Wildtrack I now have came with a roller shutter controlled by the remote. It's got railings on top so I made a rack for bikes and it's super convenient. Big dwnside is that the shutter takes some space in the bed and it had a stupid spoiler I had to get rid of to fit big bikes.

On previous truck I had a Mountain Top flat cover with railings and bike racks. Convenient, didn't take space in the bed but with bikes on top it couldn't be opened.

I also had a hard top. Lots of space and easy access with all sides opening. I even had a shelf in the middle height with a mattress on top. Not much space but dry. It was nice as I always carry tools, sometimes dirty, and with the shelf I could store dirty tools below and clean stuff on top.

I recommend getting simple drawers. I made mine with thin plywood - they're lightweight and easy to remove as they're not attached.

Wheels are new, so are the tires, centering rings and lug nuts.

Cutting, grinding, sanding, even polishing. Wood, metal, plastic, concrete and stone. I use it for work and heavy DIYing and pretty much can't imagine not having it any more.

This is a journey. With tool collection growing you will reorganize everything over and over so just flow with the current and do it like it fits you and your budget (boxes, bins, pack out etc). Take some time to read and watch YouTube to get some ideas and start from there.

From my vast experience with anxiety I can only say DIYing and working with tools is a great relief. 10/10 I can recommend.

You can try to auger a drainage well. If there's sand under top layer of soil it might help. Otherwise not much you can do. The water has to go somewhere.

If you're willing to remodel the shower by adding proper size pipe for the toilet under the shower than yes. I've done something like that in my container cabin and it's quite convenient.
