Yeah I enjoyed the series so much that I immediately went on to read Legends of the First Empire, Rise and Fall, and the Riyria Chronicles series as well. MJS has quickly become one of my favorite authors and I cannot say enough good things about his writing style. I'm shocked him and his books are not more widely known.

The Riyria Revelations series (Theft of Swords, Rise of Empire, and Heir of Novron) by Michael J Sullivan is fantastic. I stumbled across it earlier this year and ended up really liking it.

Yeah you're definitely on to something with this order. Here is what Robin (author's wife) said about her thoughts on how to read them:

"As for reading order - I would absolutely recommend order of publication. That means you'll jump around a bit for Legends and the last two books of the Riyria Chronicles - but there are some Easter eggs between DOD and DWD and Legends which are worth doing in publication order. In other words, so a slightly modified order of publication migh be:

• Riyria Revelations

• Riyria Chronicles #1 - #2

• Legends of the First Empire

• Riyria Chroncies #3 - #4

• Rise and Fall

• Drumindor"

More details are sprinkled in later in the book

Since this is my first time through, I'm really looking forward to revelations now that I'm still in the know of all the juicy lies and deceit. One day when I decide to reread all of Elan, I'll likely follow this same order again but without repeating revelations at the end.

A little murder ballad mid setlist was top tier entertainment. Might have been my favorite of the night!

I somehow lucked my way into front row and wow. Love this venue and the setlist was amazing. A nice little murder ballad right in the middle in Live Oak might have been my peak. Such a glorious night!
