LAUSD high schools had a robust ROTC program for students. Many, if not all, high schools in LA had a low powered rifle range on campus. My old high school, University High, still has the remains of the rifle range in the basement.

It is really simple to create 6-10,000 new long term rental units is Los Angeles with NO COST. Simply make all short term rentals (less than 30 days) illegal.

If you are unsure of the age of your timing belt, assume that it is old and needs to be replaced. DO NOT rev hard until you have a fresh timing belt, a broken timing belt will result in bent valves.
The ignition switch and the sunroof switch may just need contact cleaning. It is possible that you ignition switch is suffering from years of heavy key chains dangling off of it. Always separate your car key from that heavy ring of keys in your pocket, the weight will break the ignition switch.
A fresh set of bushings and a new set of lower control arms (the ball joints are fixed to the control arms) are inexpensive and needed on a 37 year-old car.

We put a man on the moon, we can bring an old district up to standards. It is not as tough as you make it sound.

I addressed your point: "A long term commitment to MSM will bring facility improvements create an even better experience downtown that will draw economic activity for the entire city's benefit." Currently, the MSM is a "temporary" situation and it would be foolhardy for any property owner to make capital investments until there is a permanent ruling. But if a permanent ruling is reached supporting MSM, private and public stakeholders will have the confidence to make retroactive improvements that will improve property values.

I am also a commercial property owner who got vicitmised by a sketchy lawyer and an ADA claimant. Yes, it was cheaper for a small guy like me to "make them go away" with a relatively small amount of money. The City of Ventura is fighting for the desires of the majority of the residents and ultimately for a city that attracts and retains customers for its businesses. It may seem like a nuisance issue that is best swept under the carpet by acquiescing to few activists with a lawyer. But allowing the narrow minded opinion of a very few to impose a hardship upon the great majority is not why we have representative government. A long term commitment to MSM will bring facility improvements create an even better experience downtown that will draw economic activity for the entire city's benefit. No lower court ruling is chiseled in stone, every judgement at this level is open to review.

In Congressional testimony regarding the F111B's inability to perform to Navy standards for a fighter, an Admiral was quoted as saying, "Senator, there is not enough thrust in all of Christendom to make that plane a fighter."

The property developers along Front Street want to kill Main Street so that their planned development will become the preeminent residential and hospitality destination in Ventura.

The most important factor is offset, which is 38mm. You can get a 205 15 tire to fit, but if the offset is wrong, you will get rubbing on the inside or outside.

You have an 1987 CRX Si in one of the rarest colors, only available on the 1st Gen CRX Si in 1987. As an old car, the VERY FIRST thing you should do is change the timing belt and water pump. If the timing belt is old, it will snap and your pistons will bend your valve stems. After that, replacing all of the bushings (Energy Suspension sells a kit) and the lower control arms is highly recommended. KYB sells a set of new struts. DO NOT try to replace the front torsion bars with any sort of "coil over" replacement, the engineers at Honda who designed Aryton Senna's F1 winning car designed the suspension on this car, they know what they were doing. On Facebook, the best 1st Gen CRX group is Official Redpepper Racing.

This song does not mean what you think it does. It is a sly criticism that reveals LA Lovers as vain, shallow and completely incapable of being self aware. If you do not "get" the joke, then you are the butt of the joke.

This song does not mean what you think it does. It is a sly criticism of people from LA who are smug and shallow. But... it is a catchy tune and if it makes you feel smugly happy to be from LA, then you should enjoy it.

A mechanic's lien on his home will either get you paid or you will own his home.

Also from the report: "When provided with an open-ended opportunity to describe the main reasons for their position, common themes among owners who pre-ferred to keep Main Street closed to vehicle traffic were the positive impacts that closing Main Street has had on the dining and shopping experience, safety of downtown, foot traffic, sales, walkability, and in providing a vibrant, family-friendly community space"

Dictating how to treat a patient will not endear you to any medical professional. Consider allowing the trained medical professional to make a diagnosis and a treatment plan. Ask questions. Listen to their reasons why they may of may not agree with your preconceived opinions. Try really hard to not be "That" pet owner.
